Signposted as Relajo. Eclectic menu of Salvadoran specialities. As a starter (or main course for small appetites) I recommend the Yuca sancochada al estilo Chalchuapa ($7). Looslely translated as "Chalchuapa style stewed yuca", it is a ring of yuca wrapped around a filling of potato and yuca with cubes of beef crisply fried to create a crunchy texture. The recipe originates with a 'Clara Melia' who I hae not heard of but was apparently famous enough to get a mention on the menu. For a main course, the Coctel Relajo 2020 is a massive seafood cocktail of squid, white fish, shrimp, octopus, chile, onion and tomato ($10). Choose the national beers (either Suprema or Pilsner) and you will enjoy a beer that tastes better than the imports for less than $2.
