A beautiful example of the neogothic architecture of the begining of the 20th century of El Salvador like in Santa Tecla. The white facade makes the little details of the structure look really beautiful and helps to preserve the historic look of the cathedral. The sides of the cathedral are brick unlike the facade. And though it may look strange, it puts the structure into perspective when you see the forms and the amount of bricks that were used to make it. The back is a bit difficult to see and is also made if brick, but the bit that you can see of it is truly impressive. The interior is beautiful, the lighting is perfect. The images are very interesting to see and the wooden seats and furnishing is intricate and shows true craftsmanship. My first time here visiting this country so I can't speak about if it is better or worse. I didn't feel any hostility or animosity towards me or my group. The Little tourist attractions and many many Street hustlers just trying to get it. I paid the fee of $10 to be able to go to the top of the cathedral Church. I posted a picture of me at the top.
