Erittäin mahtava museo. En ole kyllä pitkään aikaan käynyt museossa jolla olisi näin älyttömän monipuolisesti erilaisia asioita ja tapahtumia. Museokamaa on kolmessa kerroskessa ja aikaa kuluu helposti erittäin paljon eli aikaa kannattaa varata paljon tätä varten. Myös monenlaisia pikku piirejä ja muita pienempiä tapahtumia tapahtumien sisällä on paljon ja moni näistä on suunnattu lapsille joten myös lapset viihtyvät ja keskittyvät museossa ilman mitään turhan äänekästä menoa. Jo tämä uusin myyttiset oliot näytös oli aivan mahtava ja kertoi myös Suomen historiaa erittäin mielenkiintoisesti joten täydet pisteet siitä teille. Moni asia on esitetty todella mielenkiintoisin tavoin ja pientä tekemistä sekä kokemista löytyy museosta paljon. Kuviakin tuli otettua erittäin paljon ja voit nähdä ne ohessa, mutta kaikkea tätä kauneutta ja mahtavuutta ei voi kokea saapumatta paikan päälle.

Ett otroligt fantastiskt museum. Jag har inte på länge varit på ett museum som har så här otroligt mångsidiga saker och evenemang. Museiföremål finns på tre våningar och man spenderar lätt mycket tid här, så det lönar sig att reservera gott om tid för besöket. Det finns också många små grupper och mindre evenemang inom det större, och många av dessa är riktade till barn – vilket gör att även barn trivs och håller sig fokuserade utan något onödigt oväsen. Den nyaste utställningen om mytiska varelser var helt fantastisk och presenterade även Finlands historia på ett väldigt intressant sätt – full poäng för det! Många saker är presenterade på riktigt fascinerande sätt och det finns massor av små aktiviteter och upplevelser i museet. Jag tog också väldigt många bilder, som du kan se här bredvid, men all denna skönhet och storslagenhet kan inte upplevas utan att komma hit själv.

An absolutely amazing museum. I haven't been to a museum in a long time that offers such an incredibly diverse range of things and events. The exhibits span three floors, and you can easily spend a lot of time here – so make sure to set aside plenty of time for your visit. There are also various small groups and mini-events happening within the larger events, many of which are aimed at children, so even kids enjoy themselves and stay engaged without unnecessary noise or chaos. The newest “Mythical Creatures” exhibition was truly fantastic and also told parts of Finnish history in a very fascinating way – full marks for that! Many things are presented in creative and captivating ways, and the museum is full of little activities and experiences to explore. I also took a ton of photos, which you can see alongside this review, but none of this beauty and greatness can truly be experienced without visiting in person.

Это просто великолепный музей. Давненько я не бывал в музее с таким невероятно разнообразным набором экспонатов и мероприятий. Экспозиции расположены на трёх этажах, и здесь легко можно провести много времени, поэтому стоит заранее выделить достаточно часов на посещение. Также проводится множество маленьких кружков и мини-событий в рамках основного, многие из которых ориентированы на детей — поэтому и дети прекрасно проводят время, не создавая лишнего шума. Особенно впечатлила последняя выставка о мифических существах — она была просто потрясающей и рассказывала о финской истории в очень интересной форме. За это — высший балл! Многое представлено в необычном и увлекательном виде, а в самом музее полно небольших активностей и впечатлений. Я сделал очень много фотографий, которые вы можете увидеть рядом с этим отзывом, но всю эту красоту и великолепие невозможно почувствовать, не побывав...

I just returned from this museum. It was cool! I am amazed by the replica, I could say it seemed realistic, especially the animal figures. Asides that, my favourite was the boat on the first floor and the VR experience. I was so happy to know that they have separated a temporary museum that the concept would be different periodically. However, I have to admit three things I don't like; 1. Yes, they have a guide in English but most of the text next to the exhibition's collection is written in Finnish only. 2. I thought the ticket price for students was €5 after checking from the website, but the price refers to the old museum. I don't really understand this mistake because I clicked the link to the web directly from this. So, the actual price was 10. 3. Still about the language, they have a short documentary on the highest floor,,, I'd appreciate it if you put it subtitled, because watching 17 mins without understanding what they were talking about was......

Museum of Kuopio was a excelent place to visit durring a rainy day. It offers great selection of history, both for Savo area and also natural history of Finland. There is a great number of different items from different eras on display. And also includes is the second floor of lobby which has a changing display. At the time of visit there was macrophotography of insects, which was amazing 5/5...
