The Cloître Saint-Trophime is a beautiful and remarkably well-preserved cloister. Dating back to the twelfth century, the level of detail in the craftsmanship is truly astonishing, showcasing the skill and dedication of the artisans of that era. It's evident that a significant amount of time and effort has been invested in the restoration process, allowing visitors to appreciate the cloister's original splendor. Walking through the cloister, you can't help but be captivated by its serene atmosphere and architectural beauty. Overall, a visit to the Cloître Saint-Trophime is a memorable experience, offering a glimpse into the rich history and artistry of...

Prix...

Visiting in December, the cloister was empty when we toured it. Like most cloisters, this was not particularly large or unique but worthwhile nonetheless. What was especially nice was the ability to see the cloister from the roof. As I mentioned in other Arles site reviews, this is a nice stop in a tour of multiple Arles locales with the LIBERTY pass.

The cost, at the time of writing, was 5.5 Euro for this site...but we opted for the 12 Euro FOUR site visit pass where you can visit any of 6 different sites within Arles. If you are in Arles to explore its history, then this is a worthwhile cost; as well as all the other sites being within easy...
