I really wanted to talk to their Manager but out of respect to the person in the booth plus the people queuing behind it I brushed it off on that moment but I am leaving a comment/ review so in case the management reads this they will do something about it. My family and I visited this museum last August 11 2024. Included in the pass aventure that we have purchased as a family of 3 ( 2 adults and 1 child age 10yrs old). It's a good museum near the water with a room dedicated to Pablo Picasso but its not worth buying an individual ticket. We also don't understand why only the first part of the museum has air-conditioning and the rest don't have. Air-conditioning helps on sweltering heat. We noticed upon entrance that they are very strict so if you have a big bag that cannot fit in the locker provided forget about it. Good thing our bag did. There are security or people around the museum but the worst is this lady assigned in the section where all the photos are. She had a long blond hair. We find her SUPER WEIRD!!! She approached my son like he was being rowdy inside the museum wherein he was just looking around like all of us and we were just behind him as a matter of fact. This got my son upset because in his mind he did something wrong. My son sat down with his head down and she was still talking to him. So I asked my husband what was going on. He said nothing was wrong and that our son didn't do something wrong. My son has a hard time processing his emotions and because of this it ruined our visit to this museum. PLEASE DONT APPROACH SOMEONE WHO IS FOLLOWING THE RULES INSIDE A MUSEUM JUST TO INJECT YOUR BELIEFS! I tried talking to this lady. I told her that I speak English but shes still talking to me in French non-stop not even listening to the words I was saying. I told her that my son has a hard time processing his emotions and that he is now upset because of what she did. My french is still bad and I kind of understand a bit of what she said. She wants us to concentrate in each single photos inside her area with calmness. Maybe she saw my son looking around and not even focusing on one single photo. C'mon! Who has the luxury of time looking at photos where we still have to complete 6 monuments and 4 museums in a day!!! Plus she is talking to a 10yr old kid. You cannot expect kids to look at a damn single photo for a long time THATS...
Read moreNice gallery. A mix of fine arts from different areas connected to Arles, interwoven with a lot of black and white photography, mostly of nudes - I can't remember or find the name of the photographer. There were significant other black and white photography exhibitions which we really enjoyed. Worth visiting on the Arles Achetez vos Pass monuments. I couldn't see any lift access, it's over 3 floors. I enjoyed the listening gallery (headphones) speaking about the historical information contained in Iceland and Greenland glaciers (in English). The first half of the gallery had only a paragraph or 2 per room in English l, but I used Google translate photo option to good effect. In the second half of the gallery everything was written in French...
