Jaÿsinia — Attraction in Bonneville

One of the most beautiful botanic gardens I've seen. Laid out so naturally, including areas like an alpine meadow. A little bit wild but that's clearly intentional, as the gardener was editting the self-seeders when we were there. Plants are still labelled pretty well, which is great. It has an occasionally steep but smooth path to the top plus some brilliant off-the-beaten-track routes through some areas. Jardin Alpín très agréable par cette canicule. Les nombreux petits bancs ombragés, les cascades étagées et les arrosoirs automatiques faisant office de brumisateurs offrent des îlots de fraîcheur très appréciables lors de la grimpée au château. Pour découvrir ce jardin et aller au point de vue du sommet, on peut soit rester sur le chemin principal, large et goudronné, soit emprunter les petits sentiers annexes qui parcourent le jardin mais il faudra alors être très bien chaussé car ils sont souvent rocailleux et plein de racines.
