A beautiful church that has its origin with the Jesuits who started construction in 1684 and was completed in 1689 giving the name of Saint Catherine des Arts. In 1802 it became a parish and took on the name of Notre Dame, replacing the Froide-Rue renamed Saint Sauveur. In 1909 the entire building is classified as a French historical monument. Nothing special and it was closed as well. I only visited it as I visited every 'Notre Dame" I could find. And this is the Notre Dame Caen...

Ce lieu, protège de la pluie en hiver et du soleil en été. Il est très agréable d’y poser ses fesses malgré le fait qu’on ne puisse pas y monter en sautant tel un ninja. Joli lieu de rencontre et de partage que ce soit de jour comme de nuit. Sympa pour manger en extérieur ou sécher ses cours....
