With so many authentic Italian (pizza) restaurants in Nîmes it’s a tough competition but Villa Rome stands tall on the top! On our last evening in Nîmes my wife and I decided to eat here. On a Saturday evening. Despite we called lastminute for a table this was fine and we were welcomed warmly. We ordered antipasti for starters, my wife tagliatelle with veal and me the Chef’s Pizza. Both excellent preparation and taste. The pizza for me was mouthwatering with a good balance between the ingredients. Service was good. Friendly and easygoing. So I payed 24€ for a lot of pizza dough and one scoop of ice cream. Noticed that a couple next to us got to share a pizza, which is optimal for lunch since the pizzas are...
