Restaurant Dolce Italia — Restaurant in Narbonne

We decided to stop for a light lunch in passing today, we were sat swiftly and ordered our drinks and 2 sharing platters. 2 of our 3 drinks came out quickly however we had to re-order my partner’s bottle of beer which took another 10 minutes to arrive. We looked forward to our food as our 3 year old daughter was very hungry and many of the plates coming out looked very nice.

Unfortunately we were still waiting 45 minutes later and watched tables around us manage two courses in this time. We asked in our appalling French how long it would be and we’re told just 5 more minutes, we had to wait another miserable 20 minutes. as we were getting up from the table to leave feeling ignored the food arrived. We had waited over an hour for a board of cold meat and pickles and one of out-of-the-packet fried food, consisting of a few onion and squid rings, falafel balls and mozzarella sticks.

It certainly wasn’t worth the wait, we felt insulted and the staff certainly didn’t care for our experience except for one young boy who tended our table. Other people seemed to have a better time there but we won’t be rolling the dice again with this place, certainly not with a...

Very relaxing with lovely outside terrace in addition to indoor seating. Situated in local area away from tourist hustle. Great menu, superb selection in addition to daily recommendations. Pasta recommendations are delicious. Service is excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Nobody rushes you through your meal or looking for table back quickly. À fuir !!!! Nous sommes un groupe d’adepte de cet endroit depuis des années, malgré le changement de patron, l’endroit était appréciable, ce soir, nous avons vécu quelque chose d’impensable !! Des cannellonis pas cuit voir cru à l’intérieur ! Des pâtes dont j’ai l’habitude de manger avec des pâtes blanches de l’ail et de l’huile de l’olive et des tomates cerises, mais là, c’étaient des pâtes infâmes !!!! Des pâtes effets bolognaise, mais sans goût acide sans ail vraiment rien qui ne va !!! On demande des pâtes nature sans sauce pour accompagnement d’une escalope, on nous ramène des pâtes au pesto ! Heureusement que la serveuse était très sympa, c’est ce qui sauve cette soirée et expérience !!!!

Ni le cuistot est sortie de sa cuisine, ni un gérant pour venir comprendre ce qui pouvait se passer, se cacher derrière le bar était bien plus facile !! Même pas un geste commercial ni un café offert pour tous les désagréments sur une même table !!
