Read moreI was there for the market which turned out somewhat disappointing. Cours Saleya is the other market in Nice which is well known to both locals and tourists alike. Cours Saleya is large but quite touristy which is why I chose the market where the locals shop.
The choice of produce was not as interesting and fresh as the market in Cannes where I usually shop. The fish monger however, had an excellent selection of fish and seafood where I ended up buying beautiful fresh branzino.

If you're travelling and don't want to tote heavy bags around the market, you can leave them at Hotel Berne for a small charge.
