I hate writing bad reviews, but hoping this feedback will help improve future experiences.
First the good: Immersive environment Nice audio quality, adding to the eerieness Unique aesthetic style and vibe Actor was very good
Now the problems: After entering the room, the tablet (the thing that starts the entire experience) wasn't working, and we couldn't get the attention of staff members at all, so that waste a lot of time. I had to go back down to the entrance of the building and use the intercom just to get someone's attention. The rooms are extremely dark, which is definitely a purposeful design choice, but we had a lot of trouble finding anything. This is especially frustrating when they automatically turn off all the lights in the first room multiple times whenever audio is playing — it's frustrating when you're working on a puzzle but being forced to stop to listen to repetitive audio cues. The first two issues together culminated in one of the worst experiences we've had in the second room, where we spent the entire time (~20min) unable to make any progress nor enjoy any puzzles because we were missing a key object that was required to even see the puzzles. Partially our skill issue, of course, but even though we knew we were missing a key object we still couldn't find it because it was simply too dark. I almost cut myself on a crumpled aluminum can while looking. The staff later told us there should've been a light illuminating that particular area when we first went in, but the room was entirely dark the entire time for us, possibly due to another technical failure. This could've been easily fixed if we could at least check with a staff member, but we couldn't get anyone's attention again. We were later told that they were changing shifts, so the latter guy had no idea we were even stuck.
I don't think any of this was the staff's fault — they must have been busy running around doing multiple jobs, playing the actor and helping 3 groups of players simultaneously — more likely it was simply a problem of them being understaffed that they weren't able to help us.
All in all, a very disappointing and unhappy experience for us. Not because it was a bad escape room, but rather because it had the potential to be a fun time, but was almost completely ruined due to a lack of...
Read moreThis was one of the most disorganized escape rooms we’ve ever done. From the start, we were kept waiting with no explanation. As soon as you enter, you’re asked to pay and leave your bags in an unattended cupboard with no lock – which felt very unsafe.
No clear instructions were given, and we weren’t even told that we could use the bathroom. Once inside the room, the door wasn’t locked (which completely kills the immersive experience). We also had no idea if hints were available or if the game was supposed to be linear, as nothing was explained.
The actor in the room came extremely close to us, even stepping on us a couple of times. In most escape rooms, actors don’t physically interact with players, so this felt very uncomfortable.
At the end, we were once again left waiting around with no direction. Overall, the entire experience was poorly organized, lacking structure, and disappointing. Definitely...
Read moreThis was honestly a terrible experience.
There were no personal lockers, so by the end, everyone’s belongings were all mixed up together. We didn’t get any instructions or guidance before starting; we just walked straight into the room and were thrown into the game, not even given a chance to use the toilet first. -We had to wait outside for around 25 minutes, and when we finished, we weren’t allowed to leave the room because another group was blocking the corridor. -The room itself was messy, dirty, and confusing. -The room door was never locked!! -The puzzles were completely illogical and didn't make any sense. -There was no way to communicate with the game master during gameplay.
Overall, this was the worst escape room experience I’ve ever had. I don’t recommend it to anyone, it was a huge disappointment and...
