I'm an expat in Paris from Montréal, I notice this Salon right next to my house I decided to make an appointment because i'm in need of a hair cut. Hmm …Upon my arrival Madame told me they don't do AfroHair/ curly hair which my hair is!! I was utterly shocked!!! Clearly this Salon needs to reevaluate their hair dressing licence.... If you don't know how to do a simple hair cut and use a flat iron to straighten someones hair clearly something is terribly wrong.... This would never happen in Montréal Never but then again this is Paris....
@Valessio - Coiffeur Paris 11 Thank you for your response regarding my experience. However, I asked your receptionist (who was unwelcoming) why they couldn't do my hair her response and attitude was they don't do AFRO hair she never took the time to explain to me that the SALON required a particular licence to straighten and cut my hair. With that being said I left the SALON feeling utter shock that they didn't want to do my hair because it was curly/Afro and that feeling was more enforced because I booked the appointment with Emma knowing that she was able to do my hair. Your receptionist need training on how to address customers who are not from Paris because gestures and tone of voice...
Read moreVery disappointed and honestly never again… Went there because of the good google reviews. Had a lot of coloring done to my hair which is now pretty damaged - they told me balayage was not a good option which I understand and I appreciated. The technician told me she would still refresh the color a little bit with a “gommage” and recommended a treatment for the damage. First of all - the result is absolutely yellow and I am not happy at all. I also told the hairdresser but they didn’t react, all she told me was to put a purple shampoo on at home (after my visit at the hairdresser for 125Euros…) The second thing that I found unacceptable was the treatment of the clients. I could clearly see them rolling their eyes and talking to each other while you can see everything in the mirror. Very...
Read moreReally nice and friendly staff. Cut is fine, colour is fine also, brushing/styling is below average. One thing i really didn’t like is that the prices displayed on the website are not at all accurate. I paid over double. Note that the toner is not included in the price of the balayage (which is ridiculous since a toner is required for each balayage). I would not go back simply because of the lack of transparency around pricing. Note that they also offer 5€ discount if you leave a review (which I chose not to do), so be mindful of this fact when assessing reviews. Some might not be all...
