Die Tourist-Info befindet sich nicht da, wo Google-Maps sie anzeigt, sondern noch einmal um die Ecke in einem Neubau jenseits der Hauptverkehrsstraße.

Die Tourist-Info hat ein umfangreiches Angebot an touristischem Informationsmaterial aber auch an den üblichen Souvenirs.

Ich hatte auf einer Rundfahrt in Bitbburg Aufenthalt und ging zuerst in die Buchhandlungen, um Postkarten für Postcrossing zu kaufen.

Die eine hatte geschlossen, die andere Buchhandlung hatte eher ein sehr beschränktes Sortiment, wo es nur um den Stausee ging.

Das Angebot der Touristinformation an Postkarten hingegen war sehr umfangreich, mit einer Reihe interessant gestalteten Postkarten aus der Stadt und der Vulkaneifel.

Ich habe mit damit reichlich eingedeckt und bekam dann, wohl wegen des etwas höheren Geldbetrages, ein kleines Danke-schön-Geschenk.

Auch die Tatsache, dass hier eine Toilette gibt, finde ich...
