But if you're looking for the latest and greatest in frozen foods, Anuga is the place to be.
I recently visited Anuga with a specific goal in mind: to find new and innovative frozen food products. I was blown away by the diversity and creativity of the products on display.
From frozen pizzas and pastas to frozen fruits and vegetables, there was something for everyone at Anuga. I saw frozen dumplings from China, frozen pizzas from Italy, and even frozen insect burgers from Germany. I also sampled some delicious frozen desserts, including frozen yogurt, ice cream, and sorbet.
One of the things I loved most about Anuga was the opportunity to meet with potential suppliers from all over the world. I was able to learn about their products and processes, and I even got to sample some of their products firsthand. I also had the chance to network with other food industry professionals and share ideas.

This place has 284,000 m² exhibition floor area and from 7 Halls now expanded to 11 Halls plus 100meters Square outdoor area. Imagine how large this place could be.
To me, I usually attend the once in 2 years exhibition of Foto Kina, the world’s largest photography show and held every September on the even year like 2016 and the next 2018 and so on since founded in the year of 1922. But after 2018 there're some changes: Days of event from a total of 6 days dropped to 4 days. September event become May and in this 2020 the Foto Kina the exhibition is from 27 to 30 May.
Back to the Koeln Fair, every two years there're many new inventions in photography gears, so I always tried to visit all the exhibitors as many as possible and spend all 6 days in continuances. But now no idea for this 2020 exhibition that I need to shorten them into 4 days.
Normally in the first 3 days, if I interesting in something I request to buy that thing from the exhibitors, and take them on the last day before closing time. Everybody happy, I get the products and the exhibitors can cut the transportation cost to bring the things back to their country.
In this exhibition halls, you can find a restaurant, cafeteria, and coffee shop inside for it's really difficult to go out and find the food outside.
How about the entrance ticket? You can buy single entry or daily pass on the spot or in your country through the representatives of the German Chamber...
Read moreFIBO 2025 - great crowd, great people and yet Koelnmesse has failed completely to organize this. The new e-slot system that is intended to make the process for exhibitor to setup the booth easier is probably the worst software (and process) I've ever seen. Furthermore the staff had absolutely no idea how to deal with it, so they sent us back to P22 (roughly 60 minutes back and forth with a truck in heavy traffic) to pay €100 deposit. The crew at P22 told us, it is not required to pay deposit as we are having an e-slot :-( On Sunday evening at 6 pm the fair ends and after 4 exhausting days everybody wants to pack their trucks and leave. That was working in the past, but not this year. The gates remains closed until 6:45 for security reasons (we've been told still too many visitor on the fair). Funfact 1 - that was only the rule in hall 7, the other halls been open so people started to pack everything. Funfact 2 - in hall 7 this was only the rule for 3 gates - the last gate was open. So all exhibitors traveled across the hall to use the only open gate. Funfact 3 - the security guard even locked the gates - an emergency exit by the way. Funfact 4 (summary) - you pay (a lot of money) for exhibiting, you pay extra for the parking lot to bring your car to the fairground and you pay again extra so you can drive your car to the parking lot at the allotted time. Great business...
