Overall, Spiel in Essen was a fantastic experience, held in an impressive venue that truly captured the energy and excitement of the event. The organization was top-notch, with a great atmosphere, a diverse selection of games, and exhibitors from around the world. It was an absolute treat for any board game enthusiast!
However, a few areas could use improvement. The bathrooms were not well-maintained, and with the size of the crowd, there simply weren’t enough facilities to meet the demand. This led to longer waits and less-than-ideal conditions.
Additionally, while there was a good variety of food and drink options, the prices were noticeably high, making it a bit challenging to enjoy meals without overspending.
