Rebstockbad — Attraction in Frankfurt

I would give it 5 stars for the affordable price, easy access with public transport, and the variety of activities on offer: lap swimming swimming and chilling out on the lawn when the weather is nice diving (there are 1, 3 and 5 meter spring boards) water sliding playing with children in the "beach" area, twice an hour there are artificial waves and more So, why 3 stars only? Unfortunately there's a couple of problems There are no signs that say to shower before entering the water. So sometimes one has to smell other people's perfume or deodorant. It can get very crowded. If you want to swim laps, go early Even in the pool that is reserved for lap swimming, there are lane dividers only when there's training or swim lessons. That's very unfortunate: a lane could be efficiently shared by 3 or 4 people if it's clearly marked, and people swim in circles. Having the whole pool with no lanes means one has to find a line, and swim back and forth on that line. The capacity is not used efficiently (max 2 people where 4 or even 5 would fit), and it's almost impossible to swim on the back There is a fast food option, but it only has fried food or sausages, nothing healthy for children The shower area...

Employees and also other guest communicate in a very aggressive manner. Other guest think they are the police and aggressivly point out your don't follow the rules (rules nobody told us about). But that's more of a common German thing to do I think. Come on people tranquillo break a rule now and then, its good for your health. There was an communcation error about the price. The entance fee we payed when we got in was suddenly not enough when we got out and we had to pay. This was partly because the cassiere hadn't understand us properly. The employees reacted in first instance very aggrasive blaming it all on us. After we made a scene the manager came in and handled in friendly and correctly.

The sauna itself is poor. Not relaxing also because there were tv's with soccer playing and you hear the noises of kids playing in the swimming pool.

If you are a tourist skip this place. You better just drink some...

Das Personal ist zum Teil ganz nett (daher der zweite Stern, sonst hätte ich nur nur einen gegeben), zum Teil aber ziemlich frech und unfreundlich.

Mich persönlich hat am 02.09.2020 der Mitarbeiter beim Verlassen des Schwimmbades und Rückgabe der Spindkarten (ca. 19:30 - 20:00 Uhr) so angesprochen: "Haalloo, hier raus (zeigend auf den kleinen Ausgang), Karten hier rein und tschüss"!!! Ich hatte ehrlich gesagt nicht die Zeit und vor allem nicht die Nerven mich darauf einzulassen.

Am nächsten Tag wieder der gleiche Mann draußen vor dem Eingang in einem hecktigen und stressenden Ton von Weitem schon: haben Sie Onlineticket? kein guten Tag, kein Hallo, nichts..

Am Samstag, 05.09.2020 ca. 21:45 Uhr in der ersten gelben Umkleidekabine links gegenüber der Haartrockner wurde ein Gast aus seiner Umkleidekabine rausgenötigt mit der Aufforderung und gleichzeitigem Klopfen: "Hallo! kommen Sie sofort raus bitte!". Der Gast kam dann irgendwann raus, ziemlich erbost über den unfreundlichen Ton und überhaupt, dass er raus musste. Der Mitarbeiter daraufhin so kalt: "ist alles ok". Auf die Frage des Gastes warum er angeklopft wird, hat er keine Antwort bekommen.

Letzte Woche waren wir insgesamt 3 Mal im Rebstockbad. Jedes Mal ist mir als Gast aufgefallen, dass bestimmte Bademeister (direkt an der roten Säule) einen bestimmten Kollegen (gegenüber sitzend) mobben. Der dunkelhäutige Bademeister wurde ständig angemacht und ohne Grund einfach "gedisst", angemacht und vor den Badegästen zum Teil bloßgestellt. Ich fand es sehr komisch, vor allem, dass sowas keinem aus dem Management aufgefallen ist. Es war nämlich mehr als offensichtlich.

Irgendwie hat das Rebstockbad Probleme, an mehreren Stellen das geeignete Personal zu finden.
