Museum of Textile Art — Attraction in Hanover

A very very beautiful museum! Our tour guide was a wonderful lady she was very very friendly and kind she told us a lot of interesting stories and informations even knowledge about the history of the place and the beautiful clothes collection from all around the world that they had, she (our tour guide) was very well educated on modern fashion and electronics as well!! Skurril ist das erste was mir zu diesem Museum einfällt! Es ist ein Erlebnis besonderer Art. Man muss wissen, dass man es nicht auf eigene Faust erkunden oder ansehen kann, sondern immer eine Führung bekommt. Die ausgestellten Textilien sind wunderschön und eine interessante Mischung aus aller Welt und aus vielen textilen Fasern. ABER: alle Ausstellungstücke bräuchten dringend einen musealen Profi, der sich um den Erhalt der Stücke kümmert. Da und dort ein Stück Mottenpapier reicht da nicht aus. Der Verschleiß ist schon deutlich sichtbar. Jemand, der in einem Museum solch eine Sammlung betreut würde die Hände über dem Kopf zusammen schlagen. Bitte schützt eure Textilien besser. Ganz unbedingt braucht diese Ausstellung jemanden der das Marketing übernimmt. Ein Instagram Account wäre dringend nötig und würde sicher für mehr Besucher und mehr Einnahmen sorgen. Bessere Beschilderung statt ein paar so eben hingelegte Fotos wäre sehr hilfreich. Man sieht die Liebe der Besitzer zu ihrem Werk. Aber so wie es jetzt ist, ist es eben eine Privatsammlung mit Zutritt für die Öffentlichkeit. Mehr professionelle Betreuung ist unbedingt nötig, wenn diese Sammlung überleben und ein echtes...
