Dammkar - Karwendel — Attraction in Mittenwald

Beautifull installation, takes you up onto the karwendel mountain, from which are several was to get back, down some of them require seriuos mountaneering skills and equipment! on top there is a restaurant and nice terrace, we went up with trhe first cabin so quick and fast. Got a nice explanation from the driver on the way back with al kind of technical info on our questions. When arriving back down in the "talstation" dont forget to swap your ticket for a souvenir, i made the choice for a nice ceramic...

Wer gerne mit einer Seilbahn auf einen Berg fahren möchte, der ist hier genau richtig. Ich würde jedem raten diese Bahn der Zugspitz- & Alpspitzbahn vorzuziehen. Preislich sind sie etwas günstiger, aber was man dafür geboten bekommt ist umso besser. Zum einen ist es absolut nicht so überlaufen wie die Gondeln zur Zugspitze. Das Personal in der Talstation und auch in der Gondel war mega freundlich. Sogar unsere Hunde wurden herzlich empfangen. Die Fahrt begeistert mit einer mega Aussicht und wenn man dann oben angekommen ist, hat man eine wunderschöne Hütte mit Restaurant. Von dieser Hütte aus kann man dann eine runde wandern und mehrere Gipfel erklimmen. Nach der Wanderrunde kann man dann wieder in die Bergstation einkehren und gemütlich nach unten fahren. Das Parken kostet 5 Euro am Tag, was meiner Meinung nach gerechtfertigt ist. Die Tickets für die Berg- und Talfahrt gibt man dann in der Talstation wieder ab und bekommt pro Ticket 5€...

Very nice cable car. It takes you to a height of 2244m ! Frequency is 1 car per 30 mins. Capacity is around 10 people per cable car. First car starts at 8am in the morning. Last car is at 18:00 in the evening. Per adult it costs around 35€. Nice experience and good...
