Monschauer Sandskulpturen GmbH — Attraction in Monschau

Wir waren heute als Familie mit Kindern (2+5 Jahre) in der Sandskulptur-Ausstellung, die Skulpturen sind wirklich toll gestaltet und schön anzusehen. Ein zweites Mal würden wir es uns aber nicht anschauen, weil es nicht allzu viel zu erleben gibt, eben nur große Sandskulpturen zum einmal anschauen. Unsere Kinder fanden die Schubkarren mit den verschiedenen Sandarten und den großen Sandkasten am besten, aber dazu müsste man natürlich nicht in eine Ausstellung gehen ;-) Preis/Leistung ist somit durchwachsen , vor allem wenn man nebenan das günstigere und deutlich spannendere Erlebnismuseum Natur hat. Und für 6€ pro Erwachsenen und 4€ pro Kind könnte man erwarten, dass im Sandkasten nicht nur kaputtes Sandspielzeug zu...

I'd definitely recommend visiting this place, the sand sculptures are really imposing and fascinating to look at.

It's a shame that the place is falling a bit in ruin, some of the paint is falling on the statues and there are a few...

The sculptures can be viewed across two large halls and are very impressive. Some of the detail of the sculptures is great. Entry for three adults and a child was €21.50 which is steep for an experience which lasts...
