Visited the Bau Messe. Enormous venue. 3 x 6 halls. I walked them all. 12kms first day and 9 the second day. Obviously didn't stop at each booth. Bit overwhelming. Most halls laid out with all the same type of vendor together. Good idea as you can easily compare products. Lots of coffee and food places between each hall. Not cheap but not expensive. At the West Bahn entry are various facilities, wardrobe to leave your coat or luggage for €2.50 per item per day. Easy registration with lots of desks quickly issuing entry tickets. The underground U bahn stops at the Messe. I bought a 10 strifen (strip) journey card for €14 You buy it out of a machine and then before you enter the escalators to go down to the train there are small blue boxes where you stuck the card ticket inside and it stamps the time, date and location. You have to fold the ticket back and stamp it 2 times for each journey. Not easy to figure out the correct use but the bank staff explained it well. If you take a taxi out there is a huge queue after the show and traffic is savage. So train is faster and a lot easier and cheaper. All in all...
Read moreI must write this review for other companies wanting to exhibit in MUNICH MESSE to beware and NOT go thru what I am going thru right now. I made the mistake when I ordered (FIRST AND LAST TIME...) for our booth in IFAT a full booth construction from MEPLAN who presented themselves as a subsidiary of MUNICH MESSE. I AM WARNING every company contemplating using this fictional service to bring your own designer and construction company - It's not worth it!! I marked 1 star because it's the minimum allowed bot really - they are worth 0 starts. Doron Meigners, Marketing communications director,...
