This place can be called a must have for any tourist who visited as Potsdam in general, as this park especially. Very, very beautiful architecture of the palace itself. It is very large and does not look like a single monolithic piece, as they sometimes liked to build palaces. There you can climb to the roof and look at part of the park and the entire garden in front of the palace. And, in fact, visit the museum itself inside the palace. Tours are accompanied by one person who opens and closes the rooms, and everyone can take a page in several languages with a general description of the rooms, and an audio guide in several languages. In the group where I was, there were definitely audio guides in Russian and English, for example. Should you visit this museum? ... Perhaps yes, I can recommend this place to anyone who at least loves art and who is at least a little interested in history, as this place has many interesting exhibits about which the audio guide tells some...

The Orangery Palace has a beautiful and symmetrical design with a central pavilion and wings.

Its exterior features impressive columns, statues, and a dome with a lantern on top.

The palace is surrounded by stunning gardens and terraces, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature.

The gardens offer a picturesque backdrop for outdoor activities like picnics and photography.

The palace's gardens are meticulously maintained and provide a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

You can explore the gardens, discover hidden pathways, and find scenic viewpoints.

The palace's exterior and gardens make it a great spot for capturing Instagram-worthy photos.

Visiting the Orangery Palace allows you to immerse yourself in the beauty of its architecture and the serenity of...

This park with palaces and others tourists points, it´s the most important place to know in Potsdam. You will spend between 3-4 hours to know the main important points in this park - Sanssouci Palace, Neues Palace, Chinesisches Haus and the windmill. If you have one entire day will be fantastic and will be possible to explore more things - including the Orangerieschloss. You can buy the tickets in anyone of palaces - and you can get an discount buying the tickets to all palaces together (if you intend to know at least two palaces) - sometimes they don´t tell you about this. I suggest you start the visit in the Neues palace because the lines to buy the tickets are minors, and after visit the...

🇩🇪Just an hour away from Berlin🏰⤵️ Sparkling with Baroque palaces, manicured gardens, and splashing fountains, Potsdam is Germany at its most regal! Hence Potsdam is often referred to as the “Versailles of Germany”! ⛲️ With 17 palaces that are spread across three parks in Potsdam, it is one the largest UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Germany. It is absolutely an amazing day trip from Berlin. Have you heard or been to Potsdam in Germany? 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐋 𝐓𝐈𝐏𝐒 ✦ To reach Potsdam, there is a direct S-Bahn train (S7) that runs from Berlin to Potsdam as well as other regional trains too. ✦ The journey takes an hour from Berlin and it is best to buy Berlin ABC 24-h day ticket (~€11) as you can then use local transport system in Potsdam too! ✦ Highly recommend to buy the Combined Ticket Sanssouci+ Online with the preferred time slot in advance as its very popular – and avoid waiting in line at the palace registers! ✦ The price of the combined ticket is €22 and it allows you to visit most of the palaces and places. ✦ Must visit palaces are: - Neues Palais - Schloss Sanssouci - Orangerieschloss - Schloss Charlottenhof - Chinese teahouse - Charlottenburg Palace - Cecilienhof Palace ✦ My favorite is the Neues Palais (New Palace) and you need to go to the Visitor’s Center at the New Palace to get a separate ticket with the guided tour time for the New Palace. The tour is for an hour and is closed on Tuesday. ✦ Plan to spend an entire day as there are more sights to explore apart from palaces like Dutch Quarter, Alexandrowka, Brandenburger Tor Potsdam etc. 📍Potsdam, Germany Follow @globetrottingsu for more travel tips, itineraries and adventure✨ . . . . . #germany #potsdam #sanssouci #neuespalais #berlin
