Really loved my visit here. The greenhouses are well maintained and diverse in their content. Most of the information is only in German, but I didn’t find this a problem. There are newly introduced panels putting the history of the botanical garden in the context of colonialism and Imperial Germany. I thought this was fantastic. Tickets are only £2 so it’s very...

A very nice botanical garden, lots of exotic plant life on display here and generally it's very well maintained.

Some sections were a work in progress but we did visit in mid spring so it is understandable they were preparing sections and renovating areas.

The entrance fee is very reasonable considering the size and what you...
