Hällisch-Fränkisches Museum — Attraction in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Schwäbisch Hall

This is a fantastic museum in Scwäbisch Hall. I was shocked that there was no entry fee for the quality of the museum. There are several floors in two different wings that you can visit. The museum contains the history of Scwäbisch Hall and the surrounding area from prehistoric times all the way up to the late 20th century. Unfortunately there are no English descriptions on exhibits, so you'll need to understand some German, or you'll have to settle for just looking at the visuals. Sehr schönes Museum und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Gepäck muss im Schließfach verstaut werden, kostenlos, wie auch der Eintritt. Im Eingangsbereich werden tolle Bücher und auch Spiele angeboten. Kaffee in allen Versionen 1,50 € ,mit Sitzgelegenheit drinnen und draußen. Orientierungskarte wird gleich beim Zutritt mitgegeben. Die ist auch nötig, da sich das Museum in mehreren Gebäuden samt Turm befindet. 5 ebenen die über schwere Treppen und Gänge erreichbar sind. Im Nebengebäude der Bauernkriege und Weltkriegsausstellung auch Jüdisches Leben in Hall und Umgebung, kann mit Aufzug Barrierefrei besichtigt werden. Sonderausstellung zu Hinter den Kulissen Gebhards Marionetten und die Treppe sehr interessant. Aber auch die Geologische Ausstellung sehr sehenswert. Leben in Hall sehr schön dargestellt in den Epochen. Toller Barocksaal. Viel Zeit mitnehmen, denn es gibt viel Input zu sehen. Von Ausgrabungen der Steinzeit und Kelten bis übers Mittelalter ins 19.
