I always make sure to visit La Pleasure Beach whenever I am in Ghana. It is a place that has a great atmosphere, lots of music, food, drinks and best of all the wonderful sea. The day I went was Easter Monday, and it was extremely busy. It did not take long for us to get in. We had to purchase tickets at the entrance, and we received free drinks on entry. There are numerous people trying to direct you to a table, but there is lots of choice. Once seated, vendors selling various things will approach you to buy something. A simple refusal will normally suffice. La Pleasure Beach is an institution, and not having visited for more than three years, I was not disappointed on my return.
