La Pleasure Beach — Attraction in Accra

I always make sure to visit La Pleasure Beach whenever I am in Ghana. It is a place that has a great atmosphere, lots of music, food, drinks and best of all the wonderful sea. The day I went was Easter Monday, and it was extremely busy. It did not take long for us to get in. We had to purchase tickets at the entrance, and we received free drinks on entry. There are numerous people trying to direct you to a table, but there is lots of choice. Once seated, vendors selling various things will approach you to buy something. La pleasure beach is a place to relax especially during the week days as it gets very busy on the weekends. It's less hectic and harassment from vendors and sellers is less compared to the weekends. The beach is dirty with all kinds of waste piled up at some portions of the beach making it an eyesore. Best beach experience for me in Ghana. Clean beach where you can swim if you want to, without having to worry about getting injured on rocks in the ocean. Life guards available to keep an eye on people and direct them towards the safest places to swim as the tides change. Great food and music from different vendors, so you never get bored.
