I recently had the pleasure of embarking on an Athens boat tour that took me to three exquisite islands, and I can confidently say it was an experience of a lifetime. From start to finish, Nanos and his incredible crew provided an exceptional journey that left me in awe. The combination of their warm hospitality, stunning destinations, and delectable cuisine made this tour an absolute delight.
From the moment we stepped aboard, Nanos and his crew welcomed us with genuine smiles and a contagious enthusiasm for sharing their beloved islands. Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the trip, ensuring that each passenger felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the voyage.
The tour itself was a dream come true. We visited three enchanting islands, each offering a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural wonders. Nanos and his crew expertly navigated the crystal-clear waters, providing breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea at every turn. The islands we explored were simply paradises on earth, with their pristine beaches, charming villages, and awe-inspiring landscapes.
One highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the exceptional food that was served on board. From the moment we set sail, we were treated to a feast for the senses. The onboard chef's culinary skills were nothing short of extraordinary. The aroma of freshly prepared dishes wafted through the air, and the flavors were a symphony of Mediterranean delights. From succulent seafood to mouthwatering Greek specialties, each meal was a masterpiece, leaving us craving for more. The crew ensured that dietary preferences and allergies were accommodated, and the presentation of every dish was a work of art.
But it was the crew's genuine passion and warmth that truly set this boat tour apart. Nanos and his team went above and beyond to make every moment memorable. Their knowledge and love for the islands were evident in the insightful commentary and engaging stories they shared, enriching our experience even further.
In conclusion, my Athens boat tour with Nanos and his crew was a true adventure that exceeded all expectations. Their kindness, expertise, and dedication to creating a memorable experience were unparalleled. I highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking an unforgettable journey through the Greek islands. Prepare to be mesmerized by the beauty of the Aegean Sea, indulge in mouthwatering cuisine, and create lifelong memories with the most...
Read moreThis was hands down the best day of our 1.5 week trip between Italy and Greece! The day starts off very relaxing, travelling to the first island, eating breakfast, and drinking coffee on the boat. Then, we arrive to the first island with the most beautiful water I have ever seen! Keep in mind there's not a ton of time on the islands to explore (a little over an hour), but hey, that's part of doing a 10-hour cruise and squeezing everything in. You can shop on other days- take advantage of the pristine water!
After we got back on the boat, the party really began. We got served alcoholic beverages jumped in the most insanely beautiful water (at the 2nd island) with everyone on the boat! And the LUNCH. OH. MY. GOD. THE FOOD!!! Hats off to the chef, that was some of the best food I had the entire trip- and there were so many delicious options! I think I inhaled the plate in less than 2 minutes..
Then we went to the third island ("pistachio island") where we had a little more time to explore, and one of the crew members (Sam I think?) took us to some spots to sample pistachio gelato, pesto, butter- literally anything pistachio and wow! SO. GOOD. I also have to give an ENORMOUS shoutout to Mo and Elizabeth for making this cruise what it was. Truly, without them and their dedication to ensuring we all had a great time, it would not have been the same. Elizabeth was the perfect blend of sweet and sassy that you'd want for a boat crew member bossing you around all day ;) Mo was getting down and dirty with all the dance moves, putting smiles on everyone's faces. They really made the experience memorable for us. They both need raises asap!!!
I will say, don't go on an all day boat cruise with food, alcohol, swimming, and music provided if you don't plan to have a good time. If you're looking for a quiet, intimate boat experience- BOOK A PRIVATE TOUR. This is advertised as a group activity, so it can get a little rowdy especially with the good vibes and good drinks. Of course, it depends on your group too. We had a mix of older and younger, some danced and some didn't. Anyway, if you're staying in Athens and don't have time to do the full island hopping experience, and even if you do, GO BOOK THIS CRUISE!! 10000/10 experience seriously. I hope to see Mo and Elizabeth again someday, thank you to the whole crew for making this day so...
Read moreThe day started out cloudy and rainy but our host Sam and his crew Elisabeth and Mo made sure we were well taken care of! They opened the bar early so we could warm ourselves up! 😂 we highly recommend a day tour like this. We had about 25 people from all walks of life that made for very interesting and titillating conversations. Our host Sam had a planned agenda for our first stop on the island of Aegina. We headed over to sample some of the delicious bi products of the pistachio (grown on the island) from his friend and buddy who happens to be a pistachio grower. Everything was delicious! We were then able to take a 10-15 minute walk to visit the temple of Apollo, or check out the stores for souvenirs, or take a horse and buggy ride of the island (for 20 euro pp). After our 2 hour stop we headed off to the island of Mini where we took a couple dives into the sea. The water was rejuvenating and this is coming from someone who only swims in the warmer waters of the Caribbean Sea! By this time time the sun was completely out and shining bright! The water was so buoyant! I have never experienced anything like it! Once we were in the boat we had a delicious meal, prepared by the chef on board. There was enough to have a second serving of a favorite dish! And there was enough beer and wine to enjoy on our entire trip! Our last stop was on the small island of Agistri, with beautiful views and small shops. We strolled the beach and took a second swim in the clear turquoise waters. We highly recommend taking a day tour on a boat like this. A ferry to the nearby islands is about 3 hours and to the bigger popular island like Santorini is about 8 hours. So if you are pressed for time but want to enjoy the Mediterranean Sea, and have something to do on the way there, a 3- island boat day cruise is the way to go. Thank you Sam and the crew for making it extra special! P.S. Barry, wherever you are, we hope you are enjoying...
