What a beauty of a spot. Our trip was in October and we got there around 10-10:30am so able to hire an umbrella and 2 beds (Euro20). However we didn’t really need the umbrella because we sat just left of the steps coming down to the beach and the trees provided shade. For those who like full sun go right! The water was crystal clear so excellent for snorkelling and swimming. A little rocky/stoney so bring swim shoes. The bay was visited regularly by private and public boats who drop anchor and have a swim and then move on. Some of the boats had loud music playing, which broke the silent, relaxing atmosphere occasionally. However, these boats didn’t stay for long. At the top of the steps is a wonderful beach bar where we had drinks and lunch, giving this fantastic views of the bay. I believe there is a bus from Rhodes town to Anthony Quinn Bay, but you would have a long walk down. Our friends came on quads and we hired a car and there was a car park at the top which, the time we arrived, had plenty of room in it. However, I heard that this place gets very busy, especially in the summer and...

Beautiful bay with crystal clear water for swimming! Need to climb many steep steps to get down there. Pebbles/shingle and water goes shallow to deep so helps if you can swim. Few fish, not loads, for snorkelling. Lovely beach bar/restaurant at top of bay steps called Kuonna which was very stylish place to eat. We had drinks and meze to share. Good music and atmosphere. Sun sets behind the headland so were in shade earlier than expected as we went in the evening around 4pm due to the 33 degree heat. We didn’t realise otherwise we may have gone a little earlier to make the most of it, although it felt like enough time as the bay is small. Changing cubicle and showers available. And free parking too, although busy even at 4pm, we got a slot...
