We stayed in the Atalanti hotel next door so decided to pop in for a snack after breakfast. We ordered crepes, coffee and what supposed to be, judging from the pictures on the menu, delicious smoothies. Coffee was pretty good and crepes were delicious but the whole experience was ruined by, what turned out to be, slightly flavoured water that was served as the "smoothies" we ordered. After complaining (after only just trying it) to the waitress we were told she already "paid" for it and was clearly expecting us to just suck it up. Never heard of such arrangements whereby the staff is paying for what customers order? When it became clear, to her disappointment, that we weren't going to suck it up she said "ok I'll pay for it" and stormed off. She also mentioned this is how they make "smoothies" - or rather prepare as she also said they don't actually make them onsite.
I'm sorry to say but this establishment clearly has no clue what a smoothie is. They also need to learn that customers don't pay for food they don't consume due to its poor quality.
On the positive note, the place is actually nice and modern. We didn't try anything else so this is based on what we ordered only and the service...

As locals, we’ve given Pavo several chances, hoping for improvement — but each visit has left us disappointed.
Take the pistachio ice cream: the first one we ordered was excellent, prompting everyone at our table to order the same. What we received, however, was a completely different (and clearly inferior) version — melted, bland, and far from the original. When we asked what happened, the staff casually admitted they had run out of the first kind and substituted it with the low-grade version used in milkshakes. No warning, no apology.
More recently, we ordered an affogato — what arrived was a tall glass of lukewarm coffee drowning a half-melted scoop of ice cream. A complete misrepresentation of a classic Italian dessert.
It’s a real shame, because the view is undeniably stunning. But sadly, the quality of the food doesn’t match the setting. If Pavo wants to be taken seriously — beyond their catering business — they need to stop cutting corners and start respecting their customers. Stunning views can’t make up for careless service and subpar...
Read moreWent out on my first night out in 5 months as I have 2 small toddlers. Got a new outfit got hair and makeup done and was so excited. Granted Pavo was very busy and they did not have enough staff so after waiting for my wine for an hour I decided to order at the bar to help the staff out. I was insulted and treat so badly my the bar man who later I found out was the owner. After he then started slamming drinks that were not what I ordered and embarrassing me infront of my friends and children I left crying. For future reference if you don’t have the type of wine that was ordered ask her and recommend a wine instead of opening bottles and slamming in the table. I don’t understand how this man has such a busy beautiful venue when he thinks it’s ok to talk and treat the people like he did me. Or what I did wrong to anyone for such awful behaviour. I hope he knows how much he upset me and he will probably take happiness from it. Shame! I’ll never go back and unless you want bad behaviour and wasted...
