Fassolou Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Sifnos

If I needed a beach that is a combination of easy access, good for anyone from families with small children to groups of friends to off the beaten path travelers, still authentic, not too crowded, crystal clear waters, sand, slow slope, while still enough interesting rocks and plants to snorkel nearby, one taverna if not self sufficient, and natural shade in abundance by trees, then Fassolou would get close to being the ideal beach. Pretty, unspoilt sandy beach with shade from trees and a few umbrellas. Decent snorkeling around the rocks at either side of the bay. Toilet and shower available. Parking available immediately behind the beach. An easy walk from Faros. There is seaweed on the seabed a little out to sea, but that did not bother us, and it appeared to encourage...
