Apokofto beach — Attraction in Municipality of Sifnos

Nice beach, easy access and parking space enough for everyone - at least while we were here! There’s also a path that leads to the beach next to Apokofto.

Worth mentioning though that during my time on this beautiful beach of Sifnos (and others as well), I’ve noticed a recurring situation: many visitors leave their towels and belongings in the shade under the trees while they go elsewhere - often for lunch at a nearby taverna - effectively reserving that space for long periods of time even when they’re not present. It’s a shame.

While this might seem harmless, it can create frustration for others who arrive and are looking for a bit of natural shade, especially on hot summer days. The beach is really nice with transparent and clean waters. You can walk/swim quite far until it gets deep. There are no sunbeds to rent but shade could be found under the trees or it is advisable to bring your own tent/umbrella.
