Linari Villas — Hotel in Municipality of West Mani

I visited the place in June 2022 and stayed at Linari Villas. They are luxuriously constructed and equipped to make you feel you're staying at a 6-star place - the 6th star is attributed to the owner, Rena Balaktaris who goes out of the way to offer you the best hospitality there is. Just two examples, which may not be typical for every guest (please don't expect the exact same when visiting) but are very indicative of the type of service they are offering. When showing me around the villa, Rena heard me mumbling that I must have forgotten to bring my beachwear cover-up. Before I knew it there was a brand new one from her collection on my doorstep. She also kindly asked my son what he likes to have for breakfast and the very next morning we had fresh milk and warm croissants hanging from the door knob early in the morning. Even though the place does not offer breakfast, she figured out that we wouldn't have time to go shopping since we arrived quite late and made sure we wouldn't wake up to nothing. What is typical, I think, is a basket of seasonal local fruit, a bottle of good local wine and some generous provisions in the fridge. Now for the villa itself. Spacious rooms, excellent quality furniture and fittings, contemporary design, ample space, great verandas and balconies with a view. A well-equipped kitchen with an island, not the typical kitchenette you find in such lodgings. Thick stone walls that keep the heat away. Upon entering you think that there's some air-conditioning functioning all day to help cool the villa but it's just the craftmanship of the local builders that have built the place in the traditional thick stone that is abundant in the area. Of course, there is a very good cooling-heating system installed should you need to adjust the temperature to your liking. Location is just excellent. Great sea-view - and a view to the mountains from the rear of the house, a short walking distance to the beach, the town's center and the fun, and with ample parking just outside your villa. On the last day we were upgrade to the Jacuzzi villa. Our things were moved so carefully and placed at the exact same spot they were in the previous one. Cleaning service is excellent and the place is spotless. Mosquito screens are fitted in the windows to keep insects away. Also, good value for money. I don't think you can get the luxury and comfort at such a price elsewhere in Greece. These reasons are why Linari Villas work with repeated customers to a large degree, so book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Our recent 4-night stay at Linari Villas in Stoupa was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a sense of tranquility and exceptional hospitality. Our host, Rena, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and well-being throughout our stay. Her kindness and attentiveness were truly unmatched.

The villa itself was immaculate. The daily cleaning service kept the space sparkling clean, allowing us to completely unwind and relish our vacation. The high-quality furnishings and amenities exuded a luxurious feel, and everything we needed was readily available.

The location of Linari Villas was also unbeatable. We were just a stone's throw from the beach, perfect for spending our days basking in the Greek sunshine.

However, what truly exemplifies the exceptional service at Linari Villas goes beyond the beautiful surroundings. On our departure day, we absentmindedly left our passport behind at the villa. We drove to Athens, feeling relieved to have arrived. However, our relief turned to panic when we realized we'd forgotten our passports back at the villa. To make matters worse, our flight to Israel was just two days away. When we contacted Rena about our predicament, she immediately stepped in to help. She arranged for a taxi driver to deliver it to us in Athens the very next morning! Thanks to Rena's incredible efforts and quick thinking, we were able to catch our flight without any further complications.

Our stay at Linari Villas was simply unforgettable. I have stayed in some lovely places around the world, but Linari Villas in Stoupa ranks at the very top! The tiny gem of a town is so beautiful you are tempted to keep the secret to yourself. The Bay of Kalogria has the purest water in which to swim, replenished daily by springs from the majestic Taygettus mountains that encircle Stoupa. The stone villa itself is ultra modern and possesses every amenity. What makes it so special however, is the owner Rena Balaktaris. Imagine visiting a beloved relative who caters to your every wish. That is the gracious, ever- helpful Rena! When we arrived our refrigerator was stocked with fresh fruit and various local culinary treats and snacks awaited us.
