Beach is nice no doubt, we went early to pick a place and parked close to Tavern Nikos, the second before last if you face the sea on the left side. The first row(Tavern Nikos rents all chairs&umbrellas in front and the restaurant) was empty w 15 chairs w towels - kind of "reserved" on them, we asked an old man who looked like owning the taverna/place are they all reserved? The best part is this: ignore the paid beds and large beach area and head west of the last tavern on the northern end is a small beach area shaded in the afternoon by the trees in the forest. Tickets are €2.50 for one single (no return available). Timetables are at bus stop and change seasonally. It is a green coach not public bus, queue by the door because the queue gets big fast and you’ll...
