Pelagos Beachfront — Hotel in Skopelos Municipality

We stayed at Pelagos beachfront apartments at low season, from 19 th of september to 2nd of october and had one of the split apartments on the 1st floor (room 112). ||||To tell the positive things first:||Pelagos beachfront is situated in the middle of the bay with direct access to the beach (gravel) via a garden as it is shown by the pictures. In the garden there are private sunbeds and swings to relax.||The view from 1st floor is marvollous as it is not disturbed by buildings nor umbrellas. Therfore sundown is a magic exprience every evening. ||The balcony s well equipped with a couch and several seats. Big enough so that the pece to dry things does not disturb.||The bathromm is spacious and well equipped with shower gel, conditioner etc.||||Anna and her husband are very fiendly and very helpfull. On our arrival there was a home made quiny marmalde.and a small bottle of plum juice.On our return they were very helpfull withe information on ferry and bus transfers.||||The room itsels is not spacious and we hardly found a space to place our luggage and we were only 2 person. I can´t imagine how a family of 4 (as ist is called an appartment for 4 people) is able to live there.||The fridge in this room is rather noisy and that is more disturbing than the noise the ||street which at our timenot really nooticable, a liittle bit in the morning and evening.||I told Anna about the noise of the fridge and i Hope that se wiil do something to change it..||||The kitchentte is really narrow and iequipped rather basic. I can´t imagine how one is able to cook there. But is has a toaster for waffles-)||||There is a MIni-Market but this is clöosing down at this time of the year.. Only a few productsare left left, I got the last package of feta, sausage and 0lives on our arrival, no cigarettes forexample. Not real problem for us as we bought some goods in Sopelos city on our next trip.||||After all Panormos and Pejagos beachfront is a favirite place for me and I will return...

We booked at this facility an apartment for 4, two adults and two teenagers. |With one word: AMAZING||Starting from our room; spacious, bright, clean and full of amenities, at least the basics to cook, shower and keep the apartment tidy on your own. |With ac in each bedroom, though we barely used it.|The balcony was cosy with side view of the sea/beach. ||The garden; beautiful, well taken care of. Pity we didn't get to use the bbq. But the sunbeds in the garden were so cool!!!||The beach; In our opinion, within the top 3 in the whole island. In terms of people/crowdy... It was the best!! Amazing green from the forest becoming one with the blue of the sea. Great view, mind blowing. |And a beautiful sunset as the beach faces the west!!!|The facility offers free sunbeds which is so convenient. ||The village; small and cosy. Quite a few taverns working also as beach bars.|Quite expensive but the whole island is like that. |For food and a drink better options may be found at other places in the island but if you prefer to stay in the village, those options would do too.|Last, the price was very reasonable. Very vfm.|If only the cost for traveling with the ship was lower!! This thing is becoming too annoying having to pay so much money to get to Skopelos and the rest of the Sporades.||Congratulations to both Michalis and Anna for their hospitality and efforts to keep the place running so nice and...

Für alle, die es gern ‚kurz‘ lieben :||Ich bin in meinem Leben schon viel umhergereist und habe für eine oder mehrere Nächte in den unterschiedlichsten Unterkünften (meist Hotels) verbracht. Etwas Besseres und Liebevolleres als ‚Pelargos‘ habe ich bisher nicht erlebt und es ist auch schwerlich zu überbieten, speziell wenn man das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis berücksichtigt. Diesbezüglich ist das Pelargos unschlagbar.||Etwas detaillierter :||Du willst freundlich aufgenommen werden ?||Dieses Erlebnis hast Du von Anfang an, wenn Anna und/oder Michalis Dich empfangen. Man gibt Dir das Gefühl, dass Deine Zeit dort wie in Deinem eigenen Zuhause ist. Die beiden haben für jeden Wunsch ein Ohr, wobei ich dies nur aus Gesprächen mit anderen Gästen weiß, denn ich selbst war wirklich von Beginn an wunschlos glücklich. Es hat mir an NICHTS gefehlt.||Du willst eine saubere Unterkunft ?||Sauberer als im Pelargos geht es kaum. Das sehr freundliche und diskrete Personal macht eine tolle Arbeit und dafür möchte ich mich an dieser Stelle noch einmal ganz besonders bedanken,||Und die Unterkunft selbst ?||Ein Traum. ||Geräumiges 2-Bett Schlaf-/Wohnzimmer||Kleine Küche, in der man alles Notwendige findet… Gläser, Tassen, Besteck, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, eine Schublade mit diversen Nescafe- oder Teesorten und und und…||Badezimmer mit ebenerdiger Dusche. Zahnbürste, Zahnpasta, ein Schrank voller Duschgels und Shampoo… es ist an alles gedacht… und sauber, sauber, sauber !!!||Vor der Eingangstür befindet sich eine sehr schöne überdachte und schattige Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen. Ich konnte mich stundenlang dort aufhalten und komplett entspannen. Das heißt nun nicht, dass es dort absolut ruhig wäre. Man hört Musik vom Nachbargrundstück, Menschen reden, Kinder spielen, das Meer plätschert, aber ich habe mich von nichts gestört gefühlt. Und wenn dann doch ‚eine Störung‘ namens Anna erscheint und meiner Freundin und mir einfach mal so zwei große Stücke selbstgebackenen Kuchen vorbeibringt, um uns eine kleine Freude zu machen, dann freut sich die Seele über so viel Gastfreundschaft. ||Da die Terrasse etwas höher liegt als das rückwärtige Gelände, hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf den grasbewachsenen Garten, den Strand und das Meer. Man sitzt da und überlegt, wo es im Moment wohl am schönsten wäre… hier auf der Terrasse, auf der 5 Meter entfernten ‚Hollywood‘-Schaukel, unter einem der Bäume, vielleicht auf einer der Liegen, die -verteilt auf geschätzten 50 Meter Gartenlänge- zum entspannten Lesen einladen oder auf dem vorgelagerten Strand. Es ist einfach für jeden Geschmack alles vorhanden und innerhalb von einer Minute oder weniger zu erreichen. Ok, das gilt nicht für die unmittelbar am Strand gelegenen Tavernen, in denen es sich gut essen lässt. Bei Schlendergeschwindigkeit sollte man hier schon etwa 2 Minuten einplanen ||||Ich könnte noch eine Stunde weiterschreiben, aber gebe jetzt einfach die Empfehlung, es selbst einmal zu erleben. Ich behaupte, dass derjenige, der vom ‚Gesamtpaket Pelargos‘ möglicherweise enttäuscht wäre, dringend ärztliche Hilfe in Gestalt eines Psychotherapeuten in Anspruch nehmen sollte, um allgemein wieder Spaß am Leben zu bekommen. ||||Anna und Michalis : Noch einmal ein ganz großes und dickes Dankeschön dafür, dass wir einen so schönen Urlaub in Eurem ‚Pelargos‘ haben durften. Ihr zwei habt etwas Wunderschönes aufgebaut und betreibt das mit so viel Arbeit und Liebe, dass man es an allen Dingen dort bemerkt oder spürt. Danke auch noch einmal für das kleine Abschiedsgeschenk, das wir von Euch bekommen haben. Danke an Euch und Euer gesamtes Team für die unaufdringliche Gastfreundschaft, die uns einen perfekten Entspannungsurlaub ermöglicht hat und dies war, geht es nach mir und meiner Freundin, mit absoluter Sicherheit nicht unser letzter bei Euch… vermutlich stehen wir im nächsten Jahr wieder vor Eurer Tür.
