Go only if you enjoy ridden down and forgotten paths with bridges only serving as artifacts to be observed and not trodden on. You will be required to do some light climbing to get a better view of the eroded path beneath you. The forest is underwhelming but not as much as the summer-time stream, which is no more than one puddle lazily seeping into the next, I am guessing also due to the number of plastic tubes guiding the water to unknown locations. At the path's top point you will not be able to continue unless you really put some work into an unofficial steep incline, by the looks more meant for actual centaurs than people, only to be met by bulldozers and a construction site (which is not actually constructing anything path related or repairing the bridges or anything like that). At this point it will be time to arm yourself, the house close by has 2 large shepherd dogs not willing to...

I had read old reviews so I wore sandals for the river. There were several parts where you have to scramble a steep and crumbly slope, pull yourself up an overturned bridge or climb a boulder. I made the mistake of thinking "oh maybe its just this one spot", scrambling, and then realizing it would be even more dangerous to go down/back, so I felt like I had to keep going. Found the road with a bunch of construction intersecting the river and got off of it, but the trailhead sign should be updated or indicate changes. It was risky and kind of stressful to...
Read moreOn this trail you can admire fossiles of the plasticocene incrusted forever in the river bed. This is partially due to mindless people who dump their trash in nature upstream and last year flood must have dragged the trash on this beautiful trail that is now polluted for ever. Other visitors did not seem to be that bothered by the trash, but I hiked the trail in January 2025 and the trash was very noticeable. The trail is damaged I recommend hiking boots, the last part to reach the road going uphill is very steep and slippery. Overall I do not recommend hiking this trail in its current state. Portaria...
