Lovely little lake, but really dirty right now after they've cut the reeds last week. They haven't done a good job removing the reeds, plus there seems to be quite a bit of bread that people have fed the birds that hasn't been eaten, plus lots of trash everywhere too, both in and around the lake. Saw one dead fish and even a dead duck in there today. Never seen anything dead in there before. Very sad to see! Generally it's pretty clean. Sadly not right now. Hopefully come tomorrow (Monday) they'll clean it up again.

We went there on a picnic with our kindergarten. Our children love the place, easy to access from the tram stop or bus stop. But after the trip, I found a tick on my skin, it was trying to make more way in my body. Highly recommend everyone to have strong bugs/ticks spray before going there

Nice and lovely place to visit! The park itself is not too big, but you can spend some quality time there, but do not expect anything big. There is a running path around the lake and some outdoor exercise equipment. The Mammut shopping mall is very near to it.

Lake Feneketlen (Feneketlen-tó) è un lago situato nel 11° distretto di Budapest. Il lago è stato formato nel 1877 quando l’argilla è stata rimossa dal sito per fornire una fabbrica di mattoni che si trovava nelle vicinanze di Kosztolányi Dezső tér. La qualità dell’acqua del lago negli anni '80 ha cominciato a deteriorarsi fino a quando non è stato costruito un dispositivo di circolazione dell’acqua. La pesca è vietata. Carino nel complesso, circondato da un bel parchetto, anche se si avverte, almeno personalmente, quasi un abbandono a se stesso sia del lago che del verde. Si potrebbe curare di più e migliorare.

Mikor kicsi voltam sokat jártunk ide a nagyszüleimmel és nekem mindig olyan félelmetes volt, azt gondoltam hogy a Feneketlen-tóban szörnyek laknak. Ennek ellenére vagy pont ezért voltak nagyon izgalmasak az ottani séták. Ma is nagyon hangulatos, gyönyörű környezet, tiszta. A kacsák nagyon aranyosak. Az év bármely szakában érdemes körbesétálni, leülni, beszélgetni, élvezni a napsütést, de futókör és fitnesspark is kialakításra került. Könnyen megközelíthető, a Kosztolányi Dezső tér elég zajos, de ha a tóhoz sétálunk, ebből semmit sem érzékelünk, amolyan nyugalom szigete hely.

Peaceful, good for rest during the day but not special. It’s good to have green areas in the city center, you can escape from everything and chill there.

Description
Lake Feneketlen is a lake in the 11th district of Budapest, Hungary. The lake was formed in 1877, when clay was removed from the site to supply a brick factory that was situated at nearby Kosztolányi Dezső tér. The lake's water quality in the 1980s began to deteriorate, until a water circulation device was built.
