Pho36 Bistro — Restaurant in Budapest

Vietnamese restaurant has many delicious dishes where I, my family and colleagues often go. The food here is great, fresh and always hot, and it comes out very quickly. The waiters are very friendly and cheerful. But things got worse for the waiters. They are no longer as cheerful and enthusiastic as before. Yesterday I came here and the female employee spoke Hungarian but did not understand my requests. I ordered a mixed stir-fried beef dish without garlic. I repeated it in English but when it came out it all smelled of garlic and there was no explanation. I don't understand why people like that can be recruited. This is the experience Worst ever from the waiters and I have been told by my friends about these new staff when we are so used to...

I've been here a few years ago, but I'm still thinking about this place and dreaming about having a bowl of Pho with rare beef. At Pho36 I tried my first Pho, and I absolutely loved it! The place is small but always full. It was a good first Pho experience for me. The broth, meat, garnishes, sauces... I compare every pho to the one from here ever since. Moreover, not many places can compete with them regarding the pho flavor. The prices and equality of food are food. We also liked mochi with green tea flavour for dessert 🍨. I hope when I go to Budapest again, I'll make time visit this place for dinner with same friends I've been there back...

I ordered a glassnoodles wok with vegetables, king prawns, and sweet chilli sauce, no eggs. My order was full with eggs, there was no sauce, no vegetables, and the 3 pieces of "king prawns" were the size of 5ft pieces. I am extremely disappointed, and surprised as I am a regular customer of Pho36, the food and service is usually fantastic and I love going there. Maybe not having a good day today my friends? I hope next time it will be...
