After checking the comments, i realized most of them are 4-5 years old, i think this restaurant was totally different back then. Those comments are no longer valid, the “ambiance” doesn’t exist, and it’s loud you can’t hear the person in front of you…

However the menu is changed, all the menu pics you see aren’t up to date, Sangria now costs more than 5K (guess they have to make more money on their best seller item).it’s a very basic sangria however, they just add pineapple and the pineapple syrup that comes in the can.

Ordering eggplant fries, blue cheese, those tiny green peppers, bread and sangria costs about 15k, and to be honest I was hungry when I left 😅

I ate authentic tapas in Spain and I feel like this is just a more “homemade” version let’s say where you have to order multiple ingredients to assemble your tapas which will end up costing a fortune even though the best tapas ingredient aren’t even on the menu.

If you want to “experience” this restaurant, google how to make a sangria (or maybe you don’t need to), how to make eggplant fries and you don’t need to google how to cut blue cheese, ham or sauté some peppers on a pan. Very Basic and overpriced.

I honestly don’t recommend it at all, a part of me feels like we got scammed. If you want tapas,...

White wines with Vivino 3.3-3.9 score you can drink between 5-10k Forint and they told they are the best. Service was awful, almost nobody checked us on the terrace. Desserts never came although we ordered them. Calamari and small fish was frozen - which isn't a problem, when they prepared well, but they were soaked in oil and chewy. A big disappointment.

I modify it to 1 star. I heard that the owner (or master waiter) doesn't want to see me here again (beacuse I told them I don't pay service fee, because hardly any service was). That is a good welcome. Never ever come here again. After leaving I indicated him that I heard him. He ran me after on the street and physically insulted me, and was very agressive. That is not how you handle guest, you should listen the critics and after that try to improve your service - or when somebody is unhappy, try to make something. But insulting somebody on the street is a really bad move,...

For the most part a very pleasant experience. Food was great and service good with only one hick up. We ordered their most expensive red wine, and it was clearly corked. When I told this to the waiter the first reply was, that this is how the wine was supposed to taste?!?! She did not even smell the cork before making this claim. I ended ordering another bottle and told them that if the new bottle tasted the same I would pay for both... But as the new bottle was not corked and tasted exactly as it should, I ended up paying just for that bottle. However this was really not very elegantly handled from their side. But we will be back as it generally was a...

i was waiting for the food, it was too small for its price and wasn't even that good, when i was waiting for my churros, they accidentally dropped the hot chocolate (idk if they put the same chocolate that fell from the plate or put other hot choco, and if they put a different hot choco then they made me wait for a longer amount of time for no reason). when i tried the churros and hot choco i felt like i was gonna throw up, nothing like this had never happened in other places, i do not know at all if it was because of the hot chocolate or the churros themselves. they do not look the same like in a photo i saw. do better.

Probably the best meal we had in Budapest. Sadly, it seems the best restaurants in budapest do not have outdoor seating but boy were we glad we compromised and went here, decor inside is very nice. Very friendly and competent service. We had sangria, and red wine to drink. We had the sobrasada parcels, Iberian chorizo, calamari, garlic artichokes, patatas bravas and eggplant fries. Also lovely aioli! My only disappointment was them running out of grilled octopus and the calamari was a very large portion and a bit too heavy for me personally but overall delicious, just wish I had tried the octopus! Recommend!

Arrived without a reservation the minute they were open, on a weekday, so it wasn't busy at all. The staff was super friendly, let me in with my dog. The food was fantastic! We tried different things, 3 of us shared each meal and it worked out perfectly. The grilled octopus, eggplant fries and potatoes with the sauces are must haves. Their apple lemonade was also very good. The restaurant looks very nice, the decoration is not too much and they also have tables outside. It's just a step away from the busy Bartók Béla street. We had a good tapas pre-dinner experience.
