Very crowded. We went on a suday and thankfully could make a reservation for a table. I think its a 🔥 place because it was very full and a lot of people went in and out. I don’t think we’d have a place to sit if we’d not have the reservation. Food was 10/10. The portions, prices and tastes was everything was great. Drinks as well. The service despite having way too much work was still nice and friendly. Those people either deserve a raise or you need to hire more people. I’m sure everyone was doing their absolute best there is still place for improvement: for example the cleanliness of the place. With this ammount of guests i could not see any spare time for them to go out and clean up despite having no table service. Decor, design and overall atmosphere was very chic. The only problem was upstairs it was too hot for the guests but when the opened the door to let in some fresh air the downstairs was suddenly too...
Read moreDid not realize the food here is fusion. Their banh mi is definitely adapted to Western tastes -- it has all the 'right' ingredients (pickled carrots/daikon, coriander, pate, butter), but somehow I couldn't taste any of it. From the pictures, the different banh mi sandwiches do look quite different, so it could just be that the chicken one is not the best. Maybe they downplayed the Vietnamese flavors on purpose, but as someone looking for an authentic banh mi, it didn't satisfy the craving unfortunately.
Giving 4/5 because they look like more of a cafe and quite a nice one at that with lots of...

For those that haven’t had phin coffee, you let it drip onto the condensed milk until it’s done dripping. Then you stir it all together. You can drink it hot or pour it over ice.
I also tried the Banh Mi Chao Vietnamese Breakfast: 2 sunny-side up eggs, Vietnamese chicken ham, homemade paté, 5 spice pork, coriander, pickles & a baguette bread.
I enjoyed spreading the paté on the baguette and eating it on its own like I used to do growing up. The rest of the breakfast plate was super flavorful and hit the spot.
Overall a delightful experience! Come by...
