As someone who visited Nagyerdei Strand as a child 25 years ago, I recently had the opportunity to revisit this iconic location, and I must say, the transformation is absolutely stunning. The place has evolved into a modern, super cool destination that offers an amazing experience for visitors of all ages.

The new development boasts several pools, each catering to different preferences, from leisurely swims to more adventurous activities. The kids' adventure island is a particular highlight, providing endless fun for the little ones. The landscaping throughout the area is fabulous, creating a beautiful and inviting environment.

One of my favorite spots was the Ice Bar, which offers a breathtaking view of the surroundings. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink. Additionally, the variety of restaurants and bars ensures that there is something for everyone, making it easy to spend an entire day exploring and indulging in the various culinary delights. The place is picturesque. I loved the whole experience at this aquaticum strand. The place is so beautiful and you just want to be there and experience everything. Right from the registration and payment, everything is seamless. The prices are reasonable-pocket friendly. They accept cards and also have discounts e.g. students (Please carry your student card). There are many locker rooms and valuable lockers that you must pay for. These valuable lockers are located all over the premises.

There is ample space in the premises so it is hard for people to be overcrowded. There are many restaurants and plenty of green grass for your picnics. A favourable place to go with a group of friends.

I can assure you that you will not run out of recreation activities here from the many swimming pools, diving boards from different heights, pool bars, to the giant water slides. The time went by so fadt and I didnt get to explore the whole place. My most favourite was the giant water slides. I loved the UFO slide, the visual light effects were so cool.

And finally the thermal water pool. Definitely will be back. I highly recommend this...

Great place for families with smaller kids but also for young people. Plenty of activities, lazy river, adventure pool for both kids and adults, wave pool, swim-up bar, 4m deep dive pool that has a direct view from below to the glass bottom pool that is up in the second floor. Crazy high sun deck with a bar and jacuzzi, comfy chairs and shaded parts on the top floor nearly as tall as the Debrecen Watertower. Slides also come down from that high. There are plenty of different sized slides from babies to extreme. Good restaurants and snacking options. Direct access to the Mediterranean indoor spa and pools (tickets can be bought together or separately) They have the wristwatch system for the lockers that can also be used as paying device, money needs to be loaded ahead. Cash is also accepted. The only thing is that inside the Mediterranean spa you can only pay with your wristwatch at the restaurant. The locker room can get a bit crazy, you touch your watch to a panel press the button and run for your locker it is open...
