We were excited to try the new renovation of the spa after coming a few years ago, and we left after less than an hour exhausting all options to have a good time.

We started with one of the thermal pools, which we quickly discovered was covered in algae… it was disgusting. Next, we moved to one of the outside pools. The water gave a reddish-brownish tint. At first we thought it was from the tiles, but realized there were several particles floating around in the water, and we weren’t sure what it was. All the facilities felt very dirty, like there was mold or algae everywhere.

Since we had paid extra for the sauna pass, we decided to forget the pools and relax in the sauna area. We discovered that there was several saunas in the area but only 2 were functioning (apart from the infrared light sauna), and one of them was naked only. We personally don’t like being naked in the sauna, so we opted for the only one that you could wear a bathing suit in. Within minutes I could not stand the heat, because it was 90 degrees or higher, so I went to the steam room instead, thinking it would be better. It was actually worse! The steam and the heat were completely unbearable - unsurprisingly, it was empty, and I could not stay inside for more than 10 seconds. I will also mention that there were some creepy people at the sauna area, commenting on women’s bodies.

At that point, feeling completely frustrated, we decided to leave. I was not enjoying myself, I did not feel relaxed, and there was no part of the spa that I could appreciate. We asked for a refund, as we didn’t really use any of the facilities (except to decide that they were unsatisfactory and/or dirty), but the receptionist told us that they couldn’t give us a refund because we had been there for more than 30 minutes. No one had ever told us about this 30 minute rule - if I had known this, perhaps we would have left after seeing the state of the thermal pools. We made a claim, and are going to also submit a copy of the claim by email and expect a refund. We literally came to Gyor especially for this thermal bath. It’s a complete scam, and a robbery, for them to ask so much money. In the future, you couldn’t pay...

This place could have been so much more but was very disappointing! Maybe its because im used to Aqua land in Spain but the rides here seem like they were designed by a 2 year old blind chimpanzee!

-No slide had any adrenalin rush feature to it, all very slow, Afternoon Tea with your grandma kind of vibe

Most rides we would get stuck halfway and had to walk, my daughter had to climb down Emergency stairs halfway up the slide so couldn’t even finish the ride!

Massive queue due to only 1 x double inflatable in rotation which is crazy, by 3pm they added a further 2 inflatables by which time most people had left anyway

Half Moon inflated with ropes to climb up was what saved the place and is what the kids enjoyed but if you look at it you can see how dangerous it actually is and goes against every rule a ride has with waiting for a person to go and clear the ride but with this kids are flying on top of each other with grown men almost crushing the kids.

Stairs stank of Piss!

No signage for anything, which floor to go to for which slide etc

Kids pool was ice cold as their system had broke

Over priced entry Over priced food

Lunch time they closed the rides! Never heard of this before but its probably due to lack of staff so they need their lunch break

Nearly all rides you would either bang your head or get scratched up or get stuck!

On the plus side the Sauna\Steam room was nice but I could have just gone to the local Gym near where we were staying and not travel 1.5 hours! You also have to pay extra to use it and its open only till 6pm! Sorry this was meant to be the positive part. They need to either half the price or add (many) additional rides otherwise this place will close down real quick as I cant see any return customers, Ever!

Just when you are leaving and thinking that you will never return, this thought is further cemented by the fact that you also must pay for Parking! Cheers for that…

I want to get hold of this Chimpanzee that designed the rides, although all rides are flawed in design he should still be commended for the effort and what he...

First time here, with mixed feelings. Overall, we had a good time, but no thanks to the place itself... 2 pools and a slide was closed and half finished ?? (see pic). They hardly have any sun loungers inside, but they have loads of chairs. Who wants to sit and relax on a god damn chair? The payment system for food and drinks inside is stupid. It's either by card or by the watch they give you, but you have to load money onto it first... Why can't you just settle the bill at the end like at Aquaworld? The slides barely run. They say the place is open from like 9am to 8pm, but when you arrive you meet with the times for the slides, which were like 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm...And guess what, when going to the slides, they were not all running!!! They just kept switching, which 1 or 2 are running at the same time... So not enough they don't run the whole day, then even further limit which one is on, but you only find out when you go up to the tower... The handful of food and drink outlets that were open had a tiny selection, and prices were quite expensive. The phone signal is not very good inside, but they have a guest WIFI showing. We have asked 3 different staff members, and none of them had any clue what the password was though!!! They don't have the time showing anywhere either, so no clocks or digital displays, which is annoying, apart from a single clock by the sauna area. There were some heavy rains from around 3pm, and they simply closed down the whole outside area and the slides. Within an hour, the rain had gone, and the sun was coming back, yet they kept the outside pools and slides closed. Why?? I have seen numerous people trying to go outside, only to find the gates closed. The icing on the cake was the parking, which is really expensive, 320 HUF per hour, but you can validate at reception, which then reduces it to a maximum of 1300 HUF for the full day, which is still much taking into account that the entry fee is almost 10.000 HUF pp. All right for once, but it's way overpriced for the service...

On Friday, July 5, 2024, we went to your aquapark in Győr again after a year. Last year, our children really enjoyed your water slides. However, disillusionment and sadness came upon arrival. Our children were not allowed on the water slides because they were not 120 cm tall in their shoulders (the oldest daughter was measured at 118 cm – she is 12 years old!) It was explained to us that there is a new owner, new rules and that it is our fault that we did not read it at the entrance or on the website. (there was no notice at the entrance and we found it on the web only after a long time of intensive searching). After a while, I found out that some smaller children normally ride the water slides. So I sent ours as well and they were stopped again. When I contacted your employee that I didn't like the fact that smaller children than mine were riding and that they were certainly not 120 cm, he suddenly started measuring the children and stopping them. After a long time, I went to the water slides again and the young man looked at his mobile phone and again did not look after the smaller children who were normally riding. He didn't let my children go again, and he even made inappropriate gestures at me and laughed at me. I think he should definitely not allow himself to do this. I respect your rules, but only if they apply to everyone. This is your calling card as an employer and you should definitely do something about it! I have no problem with the rules you set, but I have a problem with your employee! How can I explain to my children that a young man breaks precisely given rules and lets smaller children on the water slide and our children don't? Very arrogant and smug stuff!!!

We recently visited this place and had a wonderful experience overall. The location is fantastic, and we greatly appreciated all the attention and care. Every staff member was kind and smiling. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and new. However, we'd like to offer a few suggestions for improvement: - At the reception, tickets are sold without informing visitors that they must load money onto their wristbands for purchases. Many of us only realized this while at the pool or bar, leading to frustration as we had to step away to resolve the issue. Please train your receptionists to handle tickets and wristband balances simultaneously. - The stools at the pool bar are worn out, with missing protective layers and exposed screws that can hurt. These should be fixed promptly. - The wooden niches at the bar should never be empty. Filling them with chips, bottles, or other items would enhance the atmosphere. - The bar needs lively music to energize the space and encourage consumption. Consider adding speakers or a TV showcasing Hungarian dances or landscapes to promote this beautiful country. - The bathrooms and showers for men and women are too close to each other, with open access near the lockers. This compromises privacy and safety—an issue that should be addressed. - The food offering could be more complete, with a broader selection of vegetables and fruits. - The large park area is sadly deteriorated and submerged in sludge. While we understand this area is closed and only opens in summer starting June, the cost of the ticket feels high for what's currently available. We hope to return and see some of these suggestions implemented. Thank you for your attention!
