Doddakallasandra Lake — Attraction in Bengaluru

Visited Doddakallasandra Lake on 12th Feb 2024. Good lake with walking track around the lake. It will be good if pavement blocks are laid. Despite water level being too low, some birds could be seen. Hope it will be good to visit during rainy season. Lake is in need for improvement of garden, prevention of sewage pollution to help health of this lake. Doddakallasandra lake has been rejuvenated and has turned out to a good spot for birds and humans alike. Walkways are tree covered and nice greenery all around. Water is less in the lake but you can spot birds like spot billed duck, Little Grebe, Eurasian coot, Grey headed swamphen, waterhen, Herons, wagtails, etc. In one side of the lake there seems to be someone staying inside the lake - not sure if there is an encroachment.
