I had one of the worst dining experiences here. I ordered fish and chicken starters, but neither met even basic expectations. Both lacked flavor and quality. For the main course, I chose Mudda Pappu Pachi Pulusu. While the Pachi Pulusu was decent, the Mudda Pappu was terrible—it felt more like baby food for a 6-month-old than a properly prepared dish. Next, I tried the Keema Biryani. It was an absolute disaster. The biryani masala and meat were overcooked to the point of being a paste, which was then served with plain white rice. The taste was bland and far from what one would expect from a biryani. The Mamsam Pulao was another disappointment. To begin with, it was made with basmati rice, which is not traditional for this dish. As a Telugu kitchen, you should be well aware of the correct methods and ingredients. I specifically chose the Mamsam Pulao with Chinta Chiguru (tender tamarind leaves), but I couldn’t even manage a single spoonful. It was clear the same masala used in the Keema Biryani was recycled here, with just a hint of tamarind leaves added for a new name. The meat itself was poorly prepared—boiled and tossed into the same unappetizing masala. Overall, my experience was deeply unsatisfactory. From the starters to the main course, there was no attention to authenticity, flavor, or quality. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

United TeluguKitchens (UTK)....a new Resto which is hustled in Forum South Bangalore has an inviting ambience & striking decor. I'm pretty much intrigued with the alluring decor and the comfortable seatings. The cuisine served mainly here is Telugu cuisine (ofcourse other cuisines too)....you can definitely pamper your tastebuds with all the food stuffs here. They have an  elaborate MENU on all categories....each dish on the menu is worth gorging on. Rates are pretty affordable. The staff is courteous and friendly. They will also recommend you the dishes as per your taste buds. And many thanks to Chef who curated the AH-MAZING and droolicious veg menu for us. We indulged quiet a bit : *Goli Soda (Orange & Grape Flavors) *Nimma Chaaru *Paneer Tikka *Mokkajonna Ullikaram *Veg Keema Kebab *Tandoori Mushroom *Palleturi Mushroom Vepudu *Ulavacharu with Cashew Pulav *Coconut Jaggery Icecream *Tres Leches *Malai Sandwich *Majjiga Each and Every Dish was MADE-TO-PERFECTION. Enjoyed gorging on. Everything we ordered was legit great. They have a wide and exciting menu of both Veg and Non Veg that will surely dazzle you.The food will literally knock you off your boring week and this is the place you can definitely go blindfold. Overall, if you are looking for a hearty Andhra meal in a fine-dine setting, head here now !!

I went to there alongwith my friends to have a brunch and it was a very fine experience overall. It was suggested by a Telugu pal. As the name suggests this place offers a a divine experience of Telugu cuisines. The staff were multilingual but, the one serving us was Santhosh who was well adversed in Telugu and English. He was very cooperative throughout andade our experience worth remembering. Pros: We tried Tomato Cream Soup, Lotus stem Chips, Ghee roast Chicken, Hyderabadi mutton dum Biryani, Kaju Paneer Biryani, Ulavacharu Veg Pulao. All of these tasted amazingly well. The flavours would be felt on your palate and would hit differently. Lotus stem chips are something which you won't find everywhere and quite frankly the chef did justice with it. Ulavacharu kaju pulao and kaju paneer biryani had a little similarity in taste. Choose one. In beverages we tried lime, orange and blueberry goli sodas. All had a decent taste. Though I'd choose lime if I've to. A well trained staff who were very cooperative. I gave my discharged phone to them to get charged. The ambience is elegant with nice seating arrangements. The price is at the higher end but in the end it felt worthy of it.

Dropped into UTK for lunch with my husband recently, and ended up having an absolutely lovely experience! Totally loved the ambience, food and service at this place. We are vegetarians and, in spite of being skeptical initially, found a lot to choose from the menu here.

We started with Nimmakaya Chaaru, a simple but very comforting lentil broth which was delicately spiced and beautiful. Next was Rayalseema Natu Bombs, crispy fried vegetable balls tossed in avakkai spices. This was quite a spicy affair for our tastebuds, but still so good. We opted for Palletoori Mushroom Vepudu next, fried mushrooms with a special spice blend. This was moderately spiced and very delicious. When we learnt that the restaurant has goli soda on offer, we got one each - they were super refreshing and helped cool down our palates.

For main course, we chose Gutti Vankaaya Koora with phulka rotis and Ulavacharu Kaju Pulao, both of which were excellent. The Gutti Vankaaya Koora was just perfect, moderately spiced, very flavourful and brought to mind the meals that I enjoyed at a neighbour from Andhra Pradesh many years ago. The phulka rotis were soft and faultless, one of the best I have had in a Bangalore restaurant. The pulao came with a generous dose of roasted cashewnuts and flavourful ulavacharu atop fragrant, lightly spiced rice. We loved both dishes unequivocally.

Jaggery & Coconut Ice Cream was our dessert, brilliantly executed at that. The taste of slowly thickened milk, jaggery and coconut came across perfectly, the ice cream providing a lovely finale to what had been a lovely meal.

Both of us loved the place, its simple but elegant decor and relaxing ambience. The service staff was warm and friendly, offering helpful suggestions without being overbearing or interfering.

Would highly recommend visiting UTK! I can't wait to go back, to try out the veg...

Andhra food is often associated with spiciness, but at United Telugu Kitchen, it’s the balance of flavor and heat that truly stands out. We visited UTK, located inside Forum Mall in Konankunte, Bangalore, and I was eager to see what they had to offer.

Upon arrival, there was a brief wait at the reception, but the staff quickly took our names and, within 10 minutes, we were seated at a table. The staff were courteous and very helpful, guiding us through the menu and assisting in finalizing our order. The dishes were served promptly, without much of a wait.

Here’s what we tried:

• Ragi Sankati + Natu Kodi Pulusu (5/5): The ragi was superb, and the natu kozhi, prepared with skin, paired beautifully with it. • Golichina Mamsam (3/5): The preparation was good—spicy and chewy—but it didn’t quite hit the mark compared to the other dishes. • Chintachiguru Kodi Vepadu (5/5): This dish is a must-try. The tangy flavor was truly a treat for the taste buds. • Ulavacharu Mutton Biryani (4/5): We initially ordered the Ulavacharu Mutton Pulav, but it was sold out, so we opted for the biryani instead. It was flavorful with just the right amount of masala, and the mutton pieces were soft and delicious.

Don’t miss their goli soda, which comes in flavors like lime, mojito, grape, orange, jeera, and blueberry. My personal favorites were the orange, jeera, and mojito.

To finish, we tried their gulab jamun with rabdi (4/5), which made for a satisfying end to the meal.

Special mention of the staff, Priya and Ravi who continuously took care of us till the time we left the restaurant. Appreciate the efforts 😊

I highly recommend United Telugu Kitchen if you’re looking to experience the best of Andhra cuisine. The flavors will leave your taste buds delighted—definitely a place...
