We visited Chianti at Forum South Mall (Ground Floor) and had a truly delightful experience. Named after the beautiful region in Tuscany, Chianti brings authentic Italian cuisine to the heart of Bangalore. The menu sticks to its roots, with Italian names for the dishes that add to the charm.
As soon as we placed our order, we were served complimentary fresh bread with their in-house garlic butter—absolutely divine! Soft, warm, and flavorful, it sets the tone perfectly. Along with this, we received a baguette with basil, cherry tomatoes, and garlic, accompanied by a cute little card with DIY instructions on how to make your own Chianti Bruschetta—a lovely, interactive touch that makes the dining experience even more memorable.
Here’s what we ordered:
Pesto di Spaghetti con Burrata e Pomodoro – Spaghetti tossed in a rich, creamy pesto sauce, topped with juicy tomatoes, fresh burrata, and a sprinkle of parmesan. Bursting with fresh flavors and beautifully balanced.
Tartufo e Funghi Pizza – A creamy, earthy truffle mushroom pizza with gooey mozzarella. Decadent and indulgent.
Pollo Picante Pizza – A spicy, zesty pizza with seasoned chicken, peppers, onions, and a creamy Caesar dressing. Full of flavor and heat.
Bomba di Cioccolato – A decadent molten chocolate bomb dessert with a gooey center, served with creamy vanilla ice cream. Perfect way to end the meal.
For drinks, we had the Prosecco Mint and a glass of white wine—both refreshing and paired well with the food.
Service was great, the ambience warm and elegant, and the food truly felt like a trip to Italy. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Italian fare with a thoughtful dining experience. Chianti never...
Read moreThis is our 2nd visit here. 1st visit was on a weekend lunch time. It was crowded, got table after 3minutes and it was very loud with everyone chattering around. The food was definitely tasty and we left soon as it was not very relaxing in there. But at the end it was almost empty and quiet. Food was served quickly after placing order and service was good.
2nd visit. We prebooked a table after the 1st visit experience but this was on a weekday (sankranti day) expected it to be full. But surprisingly it was almost empty and they didn’t give us outside table. The reason they gave was there was some maintenance going on. Anyway the lady in front desk greeted us nicely and the orders were served almost quickly as possible. While they kept us busy with some DIY bruschetta and later on they gave us some herbed butter with most soft bread. Chicken breast with pomodoro sauce and shrimp was my favourite. It was filling and fingerlicking good. Calamari in pesto sauce was quite bland and less in quantity. Their signature tiramisu was amazingly good. Sathyajith was very helpful and friendly. Great service by him. Would definitely recommend to visit here for authentic italian food preferably...
