Overview & History
The Ramakrishna Math & Mission is a spiritual and philanthropic organization founded by Swami Vivekananda in 1897.
The Bhubaneswar branch (often called “Moth”) is the first centre of the Ramakrishna Order in Odisha.
The Math in Bhubaneswar was established in 1919 by Swami Brahmananda, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna.
The Mission arm followed in 1920, undertaking social, educational, and health services.

Ideals & Purpose
The guiding motto is “For one’s own salvation, and for the welfare of the world” (“Atmano Mokshartham Jagaddhitaya Cha”).
The organization believes in the harmony of all religions, and that spiritual growth and selfless service go hand in hand.
Spiritual & Cultural Work
Daily worship, religious classes, discourses, meditation, and celebrations of major festivals (e.g. Kali Puja, birthdays of saints) are integral to life at the Math.
A publication department issues books in Odia and runs a magazine (Vivek Prabha) to spread spiritual and cultural literature.
Social, Educational & Health Outreach (Mission side)
Education: There is a secondary school and a middle school under the Mission.
Hostel & tribal support: A residential home for tribal boys is maintained.
Medical & health services: A charitable dispensary treats many patients. A mobile medical unit serves rural areas.

You can stay here for 3-4 days but need to maintain their rules like- Breakfast at 6:30 am Lunch at 11:45am Evening tea at 4:30 pm And dinner at 8:35 pm If you're able to then you should join evening prayers, they are very soothing and peaceful.
If you're worried about geyser or ac, you don't need to. They have all the facilities.
You just need to be some disciplined. And food is veg ofcourse!
