My stay at Hyatt Regency Kolkata on December 31, 2023, was marked by a rollercoaster of experiences. Upon arrival post 2 PM, we faced a prolonged wait of over an hour for our room. Disappointingly, the room was poorly maintained, and despite my request for a room with a good view, we were greeted with a less-than-appealing sight of their Porte cocheres. Our immediate complaint prompted a room upgrade to a duplex suite, a gesture I appreciate. The suite was indeed impressive, but unfortunately, the overall maintenance left much to be desired. Balconies were dirty, the refrigerator malfunctioned, the iron was broken, and the washbasin was jammed. Although some issues were resolved after multiple complaints, the initial impression lingered. Dining experiences were another letdown. Despite being in-house guests, we were unable to order à la carte at any of the restaurants. Attempts to inquire about dining options before our visit went unanswered. Opting for in-room dining, we encountered subpar service, with recurring billing issues and an attempt to charge for an ice bucket. The saving grace was the quality of the food, which compensated for the poor service during the bustling New Year's evening. Anticipating a delightful morning, we looked forward to breakfast at the waterside restaurant, only to be redirected to a banquet due to a change in location. The setup was disappointing—large round tables with multiple chairs, expecting guests to share tables with strangers. (Image below) After expressing our dissatisfaction and a heated argument, we secured a table exclusively for us. Despite this resolution, the breakfast experience fell short of our expectations. I've rated the hotel 3 stars—2 for the room upgrade and 1 for considering the challenges of a busy New Year's evening. While appreciative of the upgrade, the cumulative issues and unmet expectations make it unlikely for us to revisit Hyatt Regency Kolkata.

Attention Everyone, I feel compelled to share my experience at the GULAL Holi Festival on a public platform to ensure everyone is informed. Unfortunately, I must highlight the concerning marketing tactics, poor service from both managers and staff, and I've included supporting images. Marketing Shenanigans: The festival lacked adequate promotion, relying on last-minute tactics as competing venues reached capacity. Despite being a regular attendee, I was disappointed by the lack of early invitations or proper promotion, indicating a lack of fair competition. Discriminatory Policies: Booking the swimming pool area required a large group, excluding smaller parties from enjoying the festivities. This discriminatory approach, favouring regulars/ large groups over others, tarnished the inclusive spirit of Holi celebrations. Mismanagement Galore: With an overcrowded event and inadequate facilities, guests were left standing for hours without seating or refreshments. The event's disorganisation reached a peak when they ran out of water for the rain dance, showcasing a blatant disregard for attendee comfort and safety. People were comforted that the rain dance will resume soon but no actions were taken. Ethical Void: The event's focus on profit over guest experience was evident, leading to an early departure for many attendees. Despite any future improvements, I refuse to support such a morally bankrupt establishment again. In conclusion, my experience at the GULAL Holi Festival was marred by greed and incompetence. I urge others to consider alternative celebrations to avoid similar disappointment.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Kolkata -- nothing was too much for them to make our stay extremely special. From the very first communications with Ambika we felt welcome and knew that as Globalist members we would be well taken care of. We weren't wrong! Our arrival was so personalized, with treats for the children and our favorite beverage and such a warm welcome from Ambika and Sahara, who continued to take very good care of us for the entire stay. We were helped to our lovely suite by Gobinda and we settled in. The suite was spacious, and comfortable, and had a huge bathroom! We liked the glass bottles of water and the fresh flowers, lovely touch. Our room was cared for each morning as requested with great precision by Rajesh and Bubu, and we loved the towel animals! Breakfast was amazing if you like Indian breakfast, and we enjoyed all of the treats! The staff was so welcoming of special orders, too, and we were grateful. Tamal, Prem, Mitish, Anushka and Shizen took excellent care of us at mealtime each day for our stay -- nothing was too much and they did it all with a smile and great caring. When we had tech issues (working and schooling online!) the kind Suorav and Samajid were there to care for us and get our devices online. Lastly, the club lounge was quite good, small but well curated, with Mujahead and Aishwarya helping us most days with a smile. The hotel could use some updated outlets and power supply such a USB. Even the desk didn't have working power. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we can't wait to come back

Here I am changing my review for the Hotel. That was me in the attached image rating the hotel a 5 star. Somehow down the lane it has made me feel sorry visiting the place on multiple occasions with reasons that were beyond imagination can happen at this favourite place of mine. For instance, it was about the two Puffs, a veg and non veg puffs, take away from the Bakery at the Lobby level and they just plainly with a stale emotion packed an ice cold veg and non veg puff ruining the excitement food can bring about and trust me you don't want to call them complaining about the same. They will make sure to make you agree that it was not their fault. They will make sure to state in bullet points how putting two cold puffs in beautiful boxes and prepare your take away was not their mistake but it was us who asked for it. It was us who didn't wanted them to put the puffs in microwave for 60 seconds. I wish you people will look into it because it is really painful to see a place first becoming your favourite because of the long history of association with the hotel. I remember the first day of inauguration of the hotel, I remember the first team of people who knew how about of the hotel. learned swimming here in 2005 and what not. It is painful to see such behaviours and such approach. I wish I had not planned this sudden surprise, my day was going really well today.

The amusement park I went to was really great! The staff there were really nice and helpful, making sure everyone had a good time. What made it even better was that the ticket prices were affordable. I visited the park during a festival, and they had an amazing offer where if you bought one ticket, you got another one for free. It was a fantastic festival bonanza deal! One of the highlights of the park was the Wet-O-Wild section. It was a water area that was really fun and also kept very clean. The water slides and pools were well-maintained, and I felt comfortable enjoying the water activities there. However, I do think the park could benefit from adding more thrilling rides. While there were plenty of enjoyable attractions, I would have loved to see some more exhilarating and adrenaline-pumping rides to really get the heart racing. It would add an extra level of excitement to the overall experience. Overall, it was a great amusement park with a friendly staff, affordable packages, and a fantastic festival offer. The Wet-O-Wild section was enjoyable and well-kept, although I believe the park could enhance its appeal by including more thrilling rides.

The visit was awesome. I enjoyed the rides. As I had discount coupons with me so I got to experience every ride available. The best part was the water park. The slides and the pool are very good. And the area is also big. There are so many options in the water park. Also many food options are available in this park and they are affordable and not much costly.
