Excellent archive of theatre. Natya Shodh Sansthan was established in 1981 as a theatre archive. It organizes seminars, lectures, discussions etc. regularly. It has a heritage library that has an impressive collection of books related to heritage in different languages. The museum of Natya Shodh Sansthan has three sections- 1. Sanskrit theatre 2. Folk theatre 3. Modern theatre The museum treasures theatrical props (e.g., costume, mask), books, letters, rare scripts and photographs, exhibits of puppet dance and mime theatre and so on. Photography inside the museum is prohibited.
