||CAPELLA - A Super Cool & Romantic Place in Kolkata|| Now a days people are more likely to prefer rooftop lounges rather than packed up interior with loud music because conversing in loud music is next to impossible thing. The best solution of which is rooftop where music is on at high volume but it doesn't bother you can easily talk to your loved ones with an amazing view of the CITY OF JOY at evening or night. Capella is a rooftop lounge with indoor sitting arrangements also situated at the 20th floor of the Altair Hotel. The place is damn amazing with the perfect view of kolkata. Once you sit on the table you can feel the place. It is best suitable for dates & important meetings. It is located in Salt Lake Sector 5 just opposite of IIHM College. The parking is not at all an issue here. Ample car parking space. For Capella the car parking is in 2nd floor after than you have to take lift to reach at the top. Ambience Cannot be explained in words because words are less to express it. For ambience only I will surely recommended the place. Large sitting capacity is available but getting a table on the side of the rooftop is little difficult on weekends because everyone choose those tables first only. In food & Drinks we ordered DRINKS :: 》 LIME & LYCHEE TWIST 》RED WINE 》ORANGE JUICE BASED MOCKTAIL ( Note : Special prepared by them so name not available in menu also & forget to click a picture also.) FOOD:: 》 NON VEG KEBAB PLATTER - (Rs 849/-) This platter consists of different types of kebab 1. Chicken Tikka (3 pcs) - The tikka kebab was really good in taste. The chicken was juicy & there is a perfect balance of spices. 2. Fish Finger (3 pcs) - The size of the fingers was good. The fish was not giving a small amount of smell also. It was served with mayyonise. 3. Chicken Coins (3 pcs)- It's a normal chicken cutlet shaped into small round shaped. 4. Prawn crackers (2 pcs) - Basically its prawn papad. 5. Purani Dilli Seekh ( 3 pcs) - It's a mutton seekh kebab. The mutton keema was mixed with spices then grilled in tandoor. The size is also good & served with green chutney. Service is too good. After every 5-10 mins someone was coming & asking about the food or anything else we need. They were visiting each & every table one by one periodically. Prices are definately are on the higher side but the ambience & view justified it. The food quantity need to be improved immediately. It's a premium place but then also the quantity is not justified according to price. Recommended.

This place blew my mind! I've visited rooftops before and will definitely see some more in my coming days, but this place will always be cherished as a beautiful memory. The staffs from the main entrance were proactive and polite. When we finally set our foot here, I was visibly impressed. The ingenious use if brass metal artefacts were breathtaking... The portraits and posters adored the vibrant walls. The ambience is top notch, the music was set in just the right volume, the tables were properly arranged and the distance gives you just the right amount of privacy amongst a crowd. The waiters were courteous, though the orders took a little bit more time to arrive. And the food was awesome! We ordered dry chilly fish and their signature fried chicken__ both of them were finger licking good! Bellini's cocktail (peach) was great, so was the Glenfiddich 12 years. We also took a hookah (kiwi flavour), and that was very light yet pleasant. Finally we took Tandoori butter chicken and Chur chur paratha to call it a day and this ending was more enriching to my taste buds.... Pocket pinch was around 4000, but it was totally worth it. The washrooms are clean and well maintained. Overall, I'm satisfied with the services. I wish to visit again; the view is too great to enjoy just one time!

Capella is a roof top restaurant and microbrewery located on the 20th Floor of the Alt Air Boutique Hotel in Sector V. The restaurant has an amazing views over the surrounding buildings and metro lines in the outdoor seating area. The ambience of the indoor seating area is excellent and has a premium feel. We visited this restaurant on 20th Dec 2021 and had an amazing time. We ordered the 'Bhut Jolokia Drums of Heaven', the 'Bengali Wedding Bhetki Fries' and the 'Chicken Spicy Sentosa Noodles'. We felt that the Drums of Heaven though tangy and tasty, was not nearly spicy enough to justify the 'Bhut Jolokia' name. The 'Bengali Wedding Bhetki Fries' comprised of Bhetki Fish Fingers served with a Tartar sauce. It was delicious. Fried Bhetki never disappoints you if you are a fish lover. The Sentosa Noodles though were average taste wise and a little bit too salty. Being a micro-brewery, there were three choices of craft Beer on offer - a Belgian Wheat based Beer, a German Lager and an American IPA. The IPA was our choice, although the other two were good as well. Overall it was an excellent experience. We would suggest that the best time to visit this restaurant is in the late afternoon in order to experience both an amazing sunset and the evening ambience.

The location n view is good but a few things pulled my review done - the manager (a tall dark French beard guy)was not wearing mask at all ..post we requested him to wear it -- he stopped coming over to our table fr further orders or anything. - Food-- Tastes are good but the size n serving of the items have gone small(dahi kebabs - taste was good but sizes have gone very small as compared to my previous visits before lockdown) similarly in veg chakhna platter - majorly filled it wid potato chips n a very small bowl of baby corn crispy, little peanuts little french fries...not worth fr d price Sad service - Had ordered a pizza ...taste was okk but the chilly flakes /herbs when requested got it after waiting fr a while was served in 2 different design open bowls... weird feel ( refer pic) -Drinks -- LIIT (little scoth ) version okk okk not great...but the original serving/ size of glass has gone small n thin compared to my prev visit & not worth the cost.

A beautiful place for a perfect dine-in, located at the 19th floor of Eco Center Building, Sector 5,Saltlake. The ambience and hospitality is certainly outstanding. Tried out their recent Monsoon Menu which I found quite affordable keeping in mind the quality and quantity. They have quick bites and street food included in a different way in this Monsoon snack menu which has dishes ranging from 99-149+taxes. This menu is available till 4-7pm valid till the end of July. Recommended dishes: Papri Chat Canapes, Crunchy Chicken Bites, Thai Fish Cakes, Kathi Roll, Salted Butter Popcorn, French Fries. These items can be paired with drinks as well. Overall my experience was really good, you should definitely try out this Place 💥.We hope you all have a great monsoon this year with capellas paranomic view and this super affordable munchies. Make your plans soon to enjoy the pitter - patter of the downpour.😍 Overall Rating: Staff 5/5 Ambience 5/5 Food 5/5 💕🥰

💠I visited this place with a colleague and we had already pre-booked a table. 💠Ambience - The ambience is the main attraction , the inside is beautifully decorated and the outer setup is really mesmerizing , one can view the whole city. 🔷Food - 🔸Cheese lounge bread - out of all the dishes i had this wad the only item i liked , the bread was crunchy from outside but cheesy and soft from inside and it came alongwith mayonnaise and tomato salsa 🔸Pasta in mixed sauce - This was really blunt and had no taste at all. Avoid this dish. 🔸Vegetable platter - it contained paneer and a lot of other stuffs ii tasted okay nothing great. 🔸Cold coffee with ice cream - this is a classic shake and cam never go wrong. 🔸Watermelon juice - it was too lemony aind not sweet nor did it taste like fresh watermelon. 💲Bill - ₹2175 including taxes. 🔘overall this place is really expensive compared to the food taste and quality. The only thing I enjoyed was the ambience.
