This definitely a hidden gem tucked away in one of the quieter neighborhoods of Salt Lake Sector 3. The food is tasty and portions are adequate for one person. This is what I ordered.
Chinese Mushroom Chicken Soup. Taste was good. Generous overload of chicken and mushrooms. Soup was thin and cornflour was pleasantly absent!
Tibetan Pork Momo. Served steaming hot, contrary to some reviews where diners complained of stale and refrigerated momos. No it wasn't. And they were tasty too. The meat to other ingredients ratio of filling is also good. I mean more meat less onion etc. However there is room for improvement and these momos can reach next level. The momo envelop is quite thick. Make the flour envelop of the momos thinner. The momos look quite big in size, but are a bit hollow inside. Either an increase in filling is required or reduce the size and make the filling tighter. This will require lesser flour, reduce cost, while making the momos juicier and yummier.
Pricing is somewhat on the higher side considering few factors. Air-conditioning was switched off. The whirring of fans is not pleasant. Most importantly a high speed fan just above the table makes food go cold quickly. Thus substantially reducing the dining experience. And complains of cold food start from here. Food is served on melamine plates and bowls. Suggest to use glassware or opalware or atleast stoneware. It will change the aesthetics. Dining experience will be elevated. Glass water bottles are old with colour film peeling off, the bottle mouth stopper is dirt stained.
Other small details require attention.
A handwritten invoice was given. Price of one item was wrong. Suggest to switch to computerised billing. Many affordable plug and play restaurant management softwares are available. I don't need to speak of the tons of benefits.
I will return to sample more dishes on your elaborate and different from others menu. And also hope to see some of...

Kurseong Korner is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Darjeeling and North Bengal cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the cozy wooden interiors and soft Nepali tunes instantly transport you to the hills.
I tried their momos, thukpa, and the chicken sekuwa — each dish was packed with flavor and made with love. The momos were juicy and perfectly steamed, while the thukpa had a rich, comforting broth ideal for a rainy day. Their Darjeeling tea was the perfect end to the meal — aromatic and refreshing.
The staff is polite and warm, and the service was quick even during busy hours. Whether you're a mountain soul or just a food lover looking to explore something different, Kurseong Korner is a must-visit. Would...
Read moreThis place was a saving grace for me this Pujo. I've been visiting the place over the years , and it's improving every single day , sadly in a snail's pace . The sad the about it is most people don't know this eatery and it's delectable selection in the Chinese/Kurseong cuisine . The food is amazing and so is the hospitality from the staff . Yes they may seem a little laid back , but when it comes to the flavours and price few can beat it . Do them a favour and visit this Korner of Saltlake , you will not be disappointed. Of course, if you think parking is an issue , dude...
