Yesterday, I had the pleasure of indulging in an exquisite dining experience at Chives in Gandhipuram, and I can confidently say that it was nothing short of extraordinary. Tucked away like a hidden gem, Chives boasts a charming ambiance of pastels that sets the stage for a truly remarkable culinary journey. One can immediately sense the passion and skill that drives the kitchen, owing to the masterful creations of the talented chef, Jagadeepan. The adventure began with the sushi, an artfully crafted masterpiece that showcased the chef's dedication to the art of Japanese cuisine. Each bite was a symphony of delicate flavors, and the freshness of the ingredients was unmistakable. Following this, the Kung Pao chicken made its entrance, captivating my palate with its perfect balance of savory, spicy, and sweet notes. It was evident that the chef's expertise and attention to detail were present in every aspect of the dish. The tawa fish continued the culinary journey, delivering a remarkable fusion of flavors and textures that left a lasting impression. The mezze platter was a delightful exploration of Mediterranean delights, with each component offering a unique burst of flavors that transported me to the sun-soaked shores of the Mediterranean. As the meal progressed, the desserts took center stage, adding a sweet finale to the culinary symphony. The chocolate cherry dessert was a triumph of decadence, blending rich chocolate with the natural sweetness of cherries to create a truly indulgent treat. The pinacolada dessert provided a delightful tropical escape, offering a refreshing and satisfying conclusion to the meal. And to my surprise, the rasamalai was redefined with a creative twist that left a lingering impression of innovation and artistry. To top off this remarkable dining experience, the selection of coffees offered a perfect conclusion to the evening. Each sip was a testament to the dedication and expertise of the baristas, making it clear that the commitment to excellence extended beyond the kitchen and into every aspect of the dining experience. However, it is important to note that securing a reservation at Chives is essential. The restaurant's popularity is a testament to its exceptional offerings, and ensuring a table in advance will guarantee that you do not miss out on the opportunity to savor the culinary masterpieces and exceptional service that Chives has to offer. In conclusion, Chives is truly a hidden gem in Gandhipuram, offering an unparalleled dining experience that is a testament to the artistry and passion of its talented chef. From the welcoming ambiance to the innovative and delightful dishes, every aspect of the experience was nothing short of exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend Chives to anyone in search of a dining experience that transcends mere sustenance and becomes a celebration of food, flavor, and creativity. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to Chives, and I encourage all food enthusiasts to secure their reservation and embark on their own extraordinary culinary journey at this remarkable restaurant.

Make sure to reserve a table . The ambience was good and staffs are well trained . The varieties provided here is vast . Tasted only few dishes . Their Pepperoni Pizza and Pad Thai were good . Try their Baos - They are very soft and delicious . Crispy chilli prawns were good too . Must try their coffee beverages . Taro Milk bubble tea was not good . Cheesecake was ok not the best cheesecake . Second visit : Tried their Sushi and Dimsums . Both were very really good . Mutton Rendang had a spicy flavour and it was best paired with rice . Nasi Goreng was very flavourful and delicious too . Must try is their Sticky toffee pudding and Pandan Tres leches . The best !!

A mixed bag. Visited there a few hours ago (5th October - 7:00 PM) Food: The Pita bread platter was awesome, the Mushroom Cheese Momo's were outstanding, the Tawa fish was OK, but the Ramen noodles was a big let down - bland & tasteless Service: Courteous, helpful staff, but most of them are probably learning as they fall back on their supervisors for every query Ambience: Outstanding, though the Mosquitoes need to be controlled. The biggest let down was the Valet Parking: They probably do not have a covered parking and my White Mercedes Benz came back with bird droppings all over i had to get them to clean it up. The parking was a huge let down . . .

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Chives and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment I stepped in, the cozy yet modern ambiance set the tone for a great evening.

The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent recommendations, ensuring we had the best dining experience possible.

We decided to try a variety of dishes, and every bite was packed with flavor. Here’s what we had:

Dim Sum in Sichuan Sauce: A perfect blend of delicate dumplings and bold, spicy flavors that left a lasting impression. Firecracker Prawns: These were crispy, juicy, and coated in a fiery sauce that had just the right kick. Crispy Chili Lamb: The lamb was tender with a delightful crunch, and the chili infusion elevated the dish beautifully. Smoked Chicken Tikka: Smoky, succulent, and perfectly spiced, this dish was an absolute highlight. Spicy Ramen Chicken: The ramen had a rich, flavorful broth with just the right amount of heat, complemented by tender chicken pieces. Chicken Steak in Smoky Barbecue Sauce: The steak was juicy and well-seasoned, and the smoky barbecue sauce added a delightful tang. Nasi Goreng Chicken: A hearty, aromatic dish with perfectly cooked rice and a rich blend of spices. Highlights: Each dish stood out, but the Dim Sum in Sichuan and Crispy Chili Lamb were my personal favorites. The balance of flavors in every dish was commendable, and the portion sizes were generous.

The only minor issue was that the Spicy Ramen Chicken could have used a bit more broth, but that’s a personal preference and didn’t detract much from the overall experience.

To wrap up the meal, I couldn’t resist trying their thick milkshake dessert, and it was an absolute treat! Rich, creamy, and indulgently thick, the milkshake came in a variety of flavors—I opted for Vanilla Thick Shake.

It wasn’t just a dessert; it was a full-on experience, perfect for satisfying any sweet tooth. Whether you’re looking for a decadent finish to your meal or a standalone treat, this milkshake...

Went for late lunch on a Sunday after making reservation. Ambience is contemporary with open kitchen and spacious seating. The place was packed when we walked in at allotted time and had to wait for few more mins. Spicy seafood soup with gochujang paste was quite nice with chilli and shrimp flavour. Mushrooms and cheese dimsum wasn’t good. The ingredients didn’t go together. Firecracker prawns in croissant was served cold. Still the dish was delicious enough. Fried prawns dunked in peri peri mayo sauce and soft croissant went well together with refreshing lime based salad. Penne alfredo pasta was best of the lot. The truffle oil made its magic felt. It certainly created an umami flavour. Lamb rendang has to be the worst of our order. I think they added uncooked lamb into rendang sauce. It was not even chewable. We complained the same to servers but was turned blind eye. Pistachio raspberry mousse in dessert was very well made with right sweetness but raspberry jam inside was quite sour. Pandan tres leches was a revelation for me as it had overpowering flavour of pandan leaves which definitely didn’t suit my appetite but others liked it. Service was very poor once the crowd slimmed with no one around for orders. A place like this shouldn’t provide mediocre service. And most importantly the quantity of food provided for the price was very less. I mean a plate that costs around 500 should be shareable by...
