Cavern - is a go to place for when partying around coimbatore. I see it as a leisure dining spot and party space.

Been there on a weekday for lunch. Few family and friends crowd.

Ambience: the dark themed restaurant and comfy sofa and seats. The bar setup and interiors are 🔥 Menu and food : the menu was easy enough for anyone to understand, and had a multi cuisine. Soups, starters, main course and dessert. Everything was good and and portioned well.

Bar: During my visit we had limited option and tried rum.. they could have restocked whiskey.

Must try : Roasted pumpkin soup ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Pasta ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 (not sure with the name we ordered) Nasi goreng ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5/5 Fries - decent. Not the best Curd rice with chicken ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 (This is a must try. Curd rice was super yummy and went too well ) Curd rice with Gobi also was good.

Overall: Cavern is a small resto bar/ leisure restaurant/pub (depends on how you take it) . The place can accommodate around 50 people at a time . Absolutely great bar located near Gandhipuram bus stop. The ambience, décor and seating is awesome. Seldom have I ever sat in a high chair that was actually comfortable. The lighting is great, and the liquor collection is actually really good for a bar in Coimbatore. The DJ had somehow read my mind and played a superb mix of rock and pop, both classic and modern, with some country and jazz thrown in. I had the pork ribs, they were served with an absolutely delicious steak sauce. The Korean chilli pork was pretty good as well.
