For a city like Delhi, it is not common a have a Tibetan colony. You get down from metro station and walk into it, you will feel like everything is changing surrounding you...I mean the environment, the people etc and you finally walk into a fine Monastery into the heart of Delhi..and that's an amazing experience.... Its a really beautiful Monastery and those Tibetan people are so friendly and helpful. So peaceful place and I was looking this kind of place to spend some time.. and I think it was totally worth it.. The monastery was inaugurated in 1963 by Pandit Nehru.
Important Details: Enter from the gate of Monastery Market and take the immediate left before entering the actual market and you will reach the Monastery.
