Ladakh Budh Vihar — Attraction in Delhi

For a city like Delhi, it is not common a have a Tibetan colony. You get down from metro station and walk into it, you will feel like everything is changing surrounding you...I mean the environment, the people etc and you finally walk into a fine Monastery into the heart of Delhi..and that's an amazing experience.... Its a really beautiful Monastery and those Tibetan people are so friendly and helpful. So peaceful place and I was looking this kind of place to spend some time.. and I think it was totally worth it.. The monastery was inaugurated in 1963 by Pandit Nehru.

Important Details: Enter from the gate of Monastery Market and take the immediate left before entering the actual market and you will reach the Monastery.

Nearest metro station is Civil Lines. you can reach there walking..it will take around...

Peacefull environment 5 min walk from the Kashmiri gate metro station to Little Tibet. This place is also very close to the ISBT bus stand, making it high accessible for the common man. Easy to get to but difficult to spot. Located behind the wall of a flyover, the entry is an obscure tunnel that opens into a market. Turning left will lead you into a place of peace and tranquility.
